[Verse 1]
Here we are, just you and me
Girl, do you want me to take the lead?
Just wink your eye, I’ll come aggressively
And I won’t hold back if you like it like that
I’ll come with everything
Look around, ain’t nobody here
You can come closer, you can put it right there
My arms around you and your arms around me
Baby, don’t hold back ‘cause I like it like that
Close as can be, oh baby

[Chorus]
My baby, my my baby dance with me
My sugar, my my sugar sexually
My honey, my honey and tenderly
My baby dance with me

[Verse 2]
5 o’clock and nobody’s home
Can we get busy while we’re still alone?
Put on the music and unplug the phone
We don’t have to stop ‘til after 6 o’clock
That’s when your mama comes home
6 o’clock and she still ain’t here
It feels too good for her to interfere
Let’s close our eyes and pray that she don’t come home
‘Cause the feeling is too good and I really wish we could
Go all night long, ooh...

[Chorus]
My baby, my my baby dance with me
(come on and dance with me)
My sugar, my my sugar sexually
My honey, my honey and tenderly
My baby dance with me
My baby, my my baby dance with me
My sugar, my my sugar sexually
My honey, my honey and tenderly
My baby dance with me

[Bridge]
Don’t wanna let you go, it feels too wonderful
Girl, I wish that we could dance all night
And I want you to know, you feel incredible
And I only wanna dance with you like all of the time

[Chorus]
My baby, my my baby dance with me
(coe on and dance with me, baby)
My sugar, my my sugar sexually
My honey, my honey and tenderly
My baby dance with me
(come on and dance, oh...)

My baby, my my baby dance with me
My sugar, my my sugar sexually
My honey, my honey and tenderly
My baby dance with me
(oh, I want you to dance with me)

My baby, my my baby dance with me
My sugar, my my sugar sexually
My honey, my honey and tenderly
My baby dance with me

Tony Thompson

Tony Thompson (September 2, 1975 – June 1, 2007) was the lead singer of the Waco, Texas-based R&B quintet Hi-Five. The group was signed to Jive Records in 1990 and produced a number of successful singles with the most popular being “I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)” from their debut self-titled album. The song reached number one on both the U.S. R&B Chart and the Billboard Hot 100. The group would go on to release two more albums–1992’s Keep It Goin' On and 1993’s Faithful–before disbanding in 1994.

Tony went on to record his debut solo album Sexsational for Giant Records in 1994 and released the album on June 23, 1995. The first single “I Wanna Love Like That”, which peaked at #14 on the U.S. R&B chart, was written by Babyface and featured production from Teddy Riley. The album featured contributions from a number of R&B stars including Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, Al B. Sure!, Dave Hollister, Missy Elliott and DeVante Swing of Jodeci. The album peaked at #17 on the U.S. R&B Albums chart.

Thompson was briefly signed to Bad Boy Records to work on a solo sophomore release but nothing materialized. He re-formed Hi-Five with four new members to release an album in 2005 but three of the original group members filed a cease-and-desist order on the project.
