Baby, been workin' for that paper like crazy
9 to 5, every day, nonstop, there might be payment
I'm good at what I do, ya know
Call me so professional
Times been tougher lately
I feel like I been losin' it, honey [could also be "burnin'"]
Need a break, need a breath, need a kiss
Oh, won't you save me?
I've held it down for way too long
I forgot to have some fun

[Chorus]
Can you let me be a girl?
Can I put my lipstick on?
Get sexy for myself, you can't tell me it's wrong
And if I wanna cry, I'll be crying like child
'Cause sometimes it gets hard, being a woman

24/7 days a week uh-uh, yeah, 24/7, 24/7
24/7 days a week uh-uh, yeah, 24/7, 24/7
24/7 days a week uh-uh

Baby, a diamond's made by pressure try and break me
Never can, never will, never could nothin' can phase me
And when life gets too serious, get wild get delirious (Ay)
Baby I gotta let my hair down, need to feel free now
Take me out on the town
Engage me now
'Cuz I forgot to have some fun

24/7
24/7
24/7 days a week, uh-huh
24/7
24/7
24/7 days a week

24/7
24/7
