Songwriter: Bebe Rexha

[Hook]
Don't grow up, it's a trap
You're never gonna get that shit back

[Verse 1]
Whatever happened to forever young
Living life like we got more than one
Tell me who are you now
Who are you now
Whatever happened to the sleepless nights
How'd you end up in that 9 to 5?
Tell me, who are you now?
Who are you now?

[Pre-Chorus]
I wanna dance, come take me there
I want my hands up in the air
I wanna go, oh-oh-oh
I wanna do things they said we do
Come on, whatever happened to

[Chorus]
Cheap wine and drum machines
Black nails and tambourines
La la la la la
La la la la la
My band, your garage
Pink boots and camouflage
La la la la la
La la la la la

[Hook]
Don't grow up, it's a trap
You're never gonna get that shit back
Don't grow up, it's a trap
You're never gonna get that shit back

[Verse 2]
We used to fall asleep under the stars
We used to fall asleep to dancing with the stars
Tell me, who are you now?
Who are you now?

[Pre-Chorus]
I wanna dance, come take me there
I want my hands up in the air
I wanna go, oh-oh-oh
I wanna do things they said we do
Come on, whatever happened to

[Chorus]
Cheap wine and drum machines
Black nails and tambourines
La la la la la
La la la la la
My band, your garage
Pink boots and camouflage
La la la la la
La la la la la

[Hook]
Don't grow up, it's a trap
You're never gonna get that shit back
Don't grow up, it's a trap
You're never gonna get that shit back

[Bridge]
(I wanna) I wanna grow young with you
(I wanna) I wanna grow young with you
(I wanna) I wanna grow young with you

[Chorus]
Whatever happened to
Cheap wine and drum machines
Black nails and tambourines
La la la la la
La la la la la
My band, your garage
Pink boots and camouflage
La la la la la
La la la la la

[Hook]
Don't grow up, it's a trap
You're never gonna get that shit back
Don't grow up, it's a trap
You're never gonna get that shit back
