[Verse 1]
Stay back, stay long, and you move on
I stress, come close, move on, please don't

[Pre-Chorus]
Hello, how are you? How you've been?
Lately I wonder how it feels to steal your kiss
Nothing much, just fine I'm doing well
And you can read between the lines but God, I fell

[Chorus]
I only told the moon, tonight up on the roof
I told her that I'm scared that all my thoughts they look like you
I only told the moon, about the way you move
I asked her to please tell me if you tell things to her too

[Verse 2]
Silence. Too loud. Say it, not now

[Pre-Chorus]
So how are you? How you've been?
Lately I wonder how it feels to taste your lips
Nothing much, just fine I'm doing well
And you can read between the lines but God, I fell

[Chorus]
I only told the moon, tonight up on the roof
I told her that I'm scared that all my thoughts they look like you
I only told the moon, about the way you move
I asked her to please tell me if you tell things to her too
That I give it all to you, I give it all to you, I give it all to you
I only told the moon

[Bridge]
Ah-ah-ah-ah
And another love song will play on the radio, you know
Ah-ah-ah-ah
Oh, and I’ll wait for the moon to lean in close and say…

[Chorus]
That he only told the moon, tonight up on the roof
He told me that he’s scared that all his thoughts they look like you
I only told the moon, about the way you move
I asked her to please tell me if you tell this to her too

[Outro]
That I give it all to you, I give it all to you, I give it all to you
We only told the moon
We only told the moon
Only told the moon

Camila Cabello

Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao is a Cuban-American singer born on March 3, 1997, in Cojímar, Havana, Cuba. For the first five years of her life, Cabello lived in Cuba and Mexico before relocating to Miami, Florida. Cabello dropped out of her 2012/13 high school year to pursue a career in singing (although she did receive her diploma). For her quinceanera, Camila asked her parents to drive her to North Carolina, so she could audition for the second season of The X Factor US. Barely making it into the competition, she was granted an “alternate” role who was only able to audition if they had time. Eventually, she along with Dinah Jane Hansen, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei were tapped to form multi-platinum girl group, Fifth Harmony. The collective released many chart-toppers with the highest being “Work From Home” peaking at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

During this time, Cabello collaborated with Canadian artist Shawn Mendes on “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” as well as American rapper Machine Gun Kelly on “Bad Things,” which peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

She remained part of the group until the 19th of December 2016, where the four remaining members announced via their official Twitter account that Camila had decided to leave the group to pursue a solo career. Camila then confirmed this by posting a statement on her Twitter account.
