Walking along
Trying to live our lives
Confused as we are
All trying to find our guiding star, yeah
Life's but a dream
For the time we spend here, that's what it seems
But you got to be strong
You got to know what's right and what's wrong

Oh, it's plain to see
We're not all the things we'd like to be
And if we had to live our lives all over

Let's do it right now, baby
We'll try the same things that we did before
But let's do it right this time, baby
We'll do the same things that we did before, alright

Love can be fun
Only if you got the right someone
How are you to know
If she'll stay or if she'll go? Yeah
Pain we all share
And strive to go anywhere
Keep your head to the sky
You'll make a way for you by and by

Oh, it seems to me
Big strong men we all try to be, yeah
And if we had to live our lives all over

Let's do it right now, baby (Baby)
We'll try the same things (Yeah, yeah, yeah, come on, baby)
Let's do it right now, baby (Whoa, whoa, yeah)
We'll do the same things (Come on now, sing to me)

Let's do it right, baby
Let's do it right, baby
(Ow, singin' it from here)
Let's do it right, baby
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, baby)
Let's do it right, baby
(Oh, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it)
Let's do it right, baby
Let's do it right, baby
(Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, baby)
Let's do it right, baby
(Oh, come and do it, do it, do it, do it, do it)
Let's do it right, baby
Let's do it right, baby
(Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it)
Let's do it right, baby
(Do it right, baby, ow)
(Come on and do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, baby)
Let's do it right, baby
Let's do it right, baby
(Whoo)
Let's do it right, baby

Commodores

Commodores are an American funk/soul band, which was at its peak in the late 1970s through the mid 1980s. The members of the group met as mostly freshmen at Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University) in 1968, and signed with Motown in November 1972, having first caught the public eye opening for The Jackson 5 while on tour.
