You and another
Just passed me by, oh baby
And I sat there smiling, smiling
Just to hide my pride
Oh, you couldn't have seen me
He was all that caught your eye, oh yeah
And oh, baby, baby
Right there I realized, whoa
You don't know that I know, girl

Oh, it's how you treat me, child
You're gonna mess around and drive me wild
Why you wanna do me wrong, baby
When you know I can't leave you alone? Ah
Why you wanna do what you do to me, baby?
Woman, why?

I'll always love you
Come rain or come shine, oh baby
And although you're running around, baby
I can't get you out of my mind
Oh, you've got me wrapped up in your love, baby
Tell me, what can I do?
I've been trying to give you up for a long time, baby
I'm still in love with you, whoa
You don't know that I know, baby

I tried to give you loving, yes, I did
Ha-ha, my lovin'
Oh, woman, woman, ah
Well, I could tell you 'bout yourself, baby
Things you think I don't know
I ain't crazy
I'm just in love with you, baby
Ooh-whoo-whoo-whoo, baby, I said

You see, girl
I'm not crazy
(I wanna say that I express you)
I just, I just love you
I care (Girl), I care
(Ooh yeah)
And you've been hangin' around with me for a long, long time
(See, I'm tryin' to let you go, but)
I stayed home sitting, watching, waiting, wondering (Baby)
Mmm (Baby)
(I want you, girl)
I could find you if I want to (Baby)
(I, I, I just gotta have you right here by my side, baby)
But I guess you'll be home one day (Baby)
And when you come home (Baby)
And I'm gonna be there so that (Baby)
I can hold you and squeeze you (Baby)
And feel you (And think about it)
(Baby)
(Baby)
You feel so clean, you feel so soft (Baby)
(Baby)
The smell so sweet (Baby)
(Baby)
You come here, baby (Baby)

(You don't know)
You don't know that I know, baby
(That I know)
Ooh, baby
(You don't know)
Well, well, you don't know, girl
(That I know)
No, no, no, baby
(You don't know)
Ow, you don't know that I know, girl
(That I know)
Well
(You don't know)

Commodores

Commodores are an American funk/soul band, which was at its peak in the late 1970s through the mid 1980s. The members of the group met as mostly freshmen at Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University) in 1968, and signed with Motown in November 1972, having first caught the public eye opening for The Jackson 5 while on tour.
