[Verse 1]
Let me tell you what I'm gonna do
Gonna try to get next to you, yeah
It ain't gonna be no pick and choose
Love is a game that I hate to lose, yeah

[Bridge]
I'm not speaking for nobody else
I'm only speaking for myself
Hey

[Verse 2]
Check out in your mind, what I'm saying
Give or take, Lord knows I've been praying
Nothing you can do, nothing you can say
I'm coming after your love any way

[Hook]
I'm just letting you know, I'm gonna be
Wide open
(For you baby)
Wide open
(For your love)
Wide open
(For you baby)
Wide open
(For your love)

[Ad-lib]
Hey, hey, hey, hey, well, well

Let me tell you what I'm all about
I believe in letting it all hang out
Let me tell you what I'm all about
I believe in letting it all hang out, now
I'm wide open, hey
For you, baby, yeah

I'm wide open
For your love, sho'nuff for your love

I know that anything goes for you

[Refrain]
I'm wide open (Wide open for your love)
My oh my (Wide open for your love)
I'm wide open (Wide open for your love)
Sho'nuff for your love, baby (Wide open for your love)
I'm wide open (Wide open for your love)
For your love (Wide open for your love)
Hey, hey, hey (Wide open for your love)
Yeah (Wide open for your love)
Wide (Wide open for your love)

Commodores

Commodores are an American funk/soul band, which was at its peak in the late 1970s through the mid 1980s. The members of the group met as mostly freshmen at Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University) in 1968, and signed with Motown in November 1972, having first caught the public eye opening for The Jackson 5 while on tour.
