It happened, oh, so long ago
You walked upon this earth
You were a friend of man
They treated You so bad
They did not understand
But still, You prayed for them
Yes, You did

But people came from near and far
To hear the words You spoke
They knew what had been done
The Savior had been born
The Son of God had come
To save all who believed, who believed

I believe in You
Lord of Lords and King of Kings
I believe it's true
You walked among men
I believe in You
Lord of Lords and King of Kings
I believe it's true
That You died for our sins

I will put my trust in You
Follow You wherever You may lead me
And if I should have doubts
Please, help me out
And show to me path of Your ways, yeah

'Cause I believe in You
Lord of Lords and King of Kings
I believe it's true
That You walked among men, yes, You did, yeah
I believe in You
You're my Lord of Lords, King of Kings
I believe it's true
That You died for our sins, oh-oh...

The Savior had been born
The Son of God had come
To save all who believed, who believed

I believe in You
Lord of Lords and King of Kings
I believe it's true
That You walked among men, yes, You did, yeah
I believe in You
You're my Lord of Lords, King of Kings
I believe it's true
That He died for you, died for me, oh...

Oh, and I believe in You
Lord of Lords and King of Kings
I believe it's true
That You died for our sins, yeah
I believe in You, oh...
And I believe in You...
