[Intro]
If it's in a word or it's in a look
You can't get rid of the Babadook

[Verse 1]
You said I'm tripping
And I thought the very same thing
We heard the knock up on the door
And thought the devil trying to play games
But we just thinking from the same brain
The figments of imagination come alive
When you turn the page
Don't, don't, don't, don't
Then my door hit the floor of my bedroom
Suspended 6 feet up high
Getting closer to the ceiling then I break free
This ain't the first time a entity tried to get in me

[Hook]
Well bitch, I look like a demon (Don't look away, don't look away)
And then I talk like one too
Keep on turning the page (Don't look away, don't look away)
And now close your eyes
That's what they want you to do
Well bitch, I look like a demon
(Don't you look away, don't look away)
And then I talk like one too
Keep on turning the page (Don't look away, don't look away)
And now close your eyes
That's what they want you to do

[Bridge]
Lying on the ground with my eyes wide
The shit I've seen
Will never leave the front of my mind
La-a-a-a, lying on the ground with my eyes wide
The shit I've seen
Will never leave the front of my mind

[Verse 2]
Whatever you do
Don't look him right in the eyes
I'm telling you look away, but listen, I
Have been a victim of the entity
On the other side
Of my door
Watching you close with a microscope
As you fall asleep
And creeping up into your dreams
Dressed like I'm Freddy
When I'm on a track team
Like 1, 2, 3, 4
Guess who's knocking down your door?
It's the K-R-double E-P
And I'm kreeping up onto the scene
To steal the show
Fighting in my mind
And now I have invaded all of your's too
I'm stuck and I'm stuck in the head of my words
Our fucking brain asleep, fool
I'm stuck and I'm stuck in the head of my words
Our fucking brain asleep

Ghostemane

Eric Whitney Ghoste (born April 15, 1991), also known as Ghostemane, is an artist from Lake Worth, Florida. He initially rose to popularity as a member of the now-defunct SCHEMAPOSSE—a group that included Lil Peep and JGRXXN amongst others. In a 2017 interview with No Jumper, Ghostemane said he decided to leave SCHEMAPOSSE as he wanted to grow as an independent artist, and didn’t want to be boxed in a certain group or movement.

In a 2016 interview with Metal Insider, Ghostemane stated that he was majorly influenced by metal bands such as Deicide, Death, Carcass, and Mayhem. He later got into hip hop groups such as Dirty Boyz, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and Three 6 Mafia. He listed bands like Circle Takes the Square and The Number Twelve Looks Like You as additional inspirations in a 2016 statement to Masked Gorilla.

Ghostemane has numerous side projects. These include his lo-fi black metal project Baader Meinhof, and his experimental noise project GASM.
