If you're looking for love
And you don't find it in my eyes
Then you're
Running from paradise (Running from paradise)
Look before you leap, darling
Don't you know that you're
Running from paradise

I caught you staring at the ceiling
Captured by the mirror up there
Okay, okay, I see the separation
Makin' love down here
While you're watching in the air

And if you're looking for love
And you don't find it in my eyes
Then you're
Running from paradise (Running from paradise)
Look before you leap, darling
Don't you know that you're
Running from paradise

I gave you every pose you asked for
Played every game you fantasize
I called you're bluff
We're running out of breath
You're hooked on looking
Not on what you find, no

Pa pa pa paradise
Pa pa pa paradise
Pa pa pa paradise
Pa pa pa paradise

I caught you staring at the ceiling
Captured by the mirror up there
Okay, okay, I see the separation
Makin' love down here
While you're watching in the air

And if you're looking for love
And you don't find it in my eyes
Then you're
Running from paradise (Running from paradise)
Look before you leap, darling
Don't you know that you're
Running from paradise

And if you're looking for love
And you don't find it in my eyes
Then you're
Running from paradise (Running from paradise)
Look before you leap, darling
Don't you know that you're
Running from paradise

Pa pa pa paradise
Pa pa pa paradise
Running from paradise
Pa pa pa paradise
Pa pa pa paradise
And if you're looking for love

Pa pa pa paradise
Pa pa pa paradise
Running from paradise
Running from paradise
Look before you leap

Pa pa pa paradise
Pa pa pa paradise
Running from paradise
If you're looking for love

Pa pa pa paradise
Pa pa pa paradise
Running from paradise
Running from paradise
Look before you leap

Pa pa pa paradise
Pa pa pa paradise
You're running from paradise
Look around for love

Pa pa pa paradise
Pa pa pa paradise
Running from paradise
Running from paradise
Look before you leap

Pa pa pa paradise
Pa pa pa paradise
You run around
You run around
You run around
You run around

Pa pa pa paradise
Pa pa pa paradise
Running from paradise
Running from paradise
Look before you leap

Pa pa pa paradise
Pa pa pa paradise
Running from paradise

Hall & Oates

Hall & Oates released the first of their 18 albums in 1972 on Atlantic Records. They would go on to sell 13 million albums and 6 million singles primarily during the 70’s and 80’s when they recorded their most prolific and profound music. They blended rock, jazz, soul, and pop create a genre they titled rock and soul.

While their technical musicianship, innovative songwriting styles, and popular live performances were praised, they also had a fruitful partnership with their manager Tommy Mottola, who was helped Hall & Oates break into music videos before they were popular and made profitable financial deals by helping them get on the ground level of and corporate sponsorship of tours. Hall & Oates were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
