[Intro: JoJo]
Yeah, I'm reaching out my hands
I'm reaching out to you
So what you came — what we gonna do?
What about us
I'm reaching out my hands
(I'm reaching out my hands)
I'm reaching out to you
(I'm reaching out to you)
So what we gonna do?
What about us

[Verse 1: JoJo]
Girl, I'm reaching out my hand
Trying to make you understand
That you don't have to be alone
'Cause I wanna be your man
Girl, I need you in my life
Wanna live right by your side
And I won't be satisfied
Until you give this love a try

[Chorus: Jodeci]
I'm in need of love
You're in need of love
Tell me what you think about us, oh baby
I'm in need of love
You're in need of love
Tell me what you think about us, oh baby

[Verse 2: JoJo]
Satisfaction guaranteed
If you wanna get with me
I will get down on my knees
If you please let me do you, lady
Lеt me drive you crazy
I wanna last all night

[Bridge: Jodeci, K-Ci, JoJo]
All day (All day)
All night (We can do it)
Nеver stop (Don't you never, ever, ever stop)
Never stop (Oh)

[Verse 3: Mr. Dalvin]
Cool, you come into my room
And let me get you tipsy with a bottle full of Boone
So what you wanna do? You lickin' up on my tattoos
I got thirty minutes then I gotta meet my crew rollin' through
So I, you rollin' with your girlfriends
Messin' with the Mister D-A-L-V-I-captial N
Now I, indeed proceed
Let me see, baby, now you know what I need

[Chorus: Jodeci]
I'm in need of love
You're in need of love
Tell me what you think about us, oh baby
I'm in need of love
You're in need of love
Tell me what you think about us, oh baby

[Outro: Mr. Dalvin]
It's a Jodeci thing
Mr. Dalvin, DeVante Swing, JoJo, K-Ci
(What about us, what about us)
I got my fingers on the phone and I'm dialing numbers
Trying to find girls to come over
Spend a whole night with me, listening to Jodeci
I got my fingers on the phone and I'm dialing numbers
Trying to find girls to come over
Spend a whole night with me, listening to Jodeci
I got my fingers on the phone
(What about us, what about us, oh, oh)
(What about us, what about us)
Check this out
I got my crew and you, got your girls and me
Can I get it on all through the night?
What you think about that, baby?
Listening to Jodeci
I got my crew and you, got your girls and me
Can I get it on all through the night?
(What about us, what about us)
In the house, Swing Mob definitely hookin' it up, Sista, Timbaland
I got my crew, got your
All through the night
Static, Old Timey, most active, Escobar, and Jodeci
I got my crew and..., girls and...
Get it on all through the night

Jodeci

Started in 1983, Jodeci is comprised of two sets of brothers—Cedric and Joel Hailey (also known as K-Ci and JoJo) and Donald and Dalvin Degrate (also known as DeVante Swing and Mr. Dalvin). Jodeci were once known as the “bad boys of R&B,” notable particularly because they were actually boys at the time, breaking out as teenagers in 1991 with their debut album and its title ballad, “Forever My Lady.” Natives of North Carolina, they were discovered by Heavy D, who overheard their demo when an A&R at Uptown was in the process of passing on them. Heavy D introduced Jodeci to Uptown founder Andre Harrell, who signed them after they sang in his office, and handed them off to his then-protégé Puff Daddy, who outfitted the group in dark shades and coordinating leather ensembles. The look, along with the streetwise soul found in songs like “Cry 4 U” and “Feenin” (as well as a few run-ins with the law) made them the antithesis to good-guy personas of then-peaking R&B superstars Boyz II Men. Devante, who along with Mr. Dalvin held down production duties for the group, founded the Swing Mob, a collective responsible for the discovery of musical geniuses like Timbaland, Missy Elliott, and Static Major. As a group, Jodeci would go on to release three critically-acclaimed album in the ‘90s, before disappearing from the limelight. K-Ci and JoJo splintered off as a duo in 1997, producing hit single “All My Life” and, eventually, five albums, but adoring fans never let go of their Jodeci obsession. In March, the group released The Past, The Present, The Future, the first Jodeci album in two decades. Jodeci, if y'all reading this, where’d you go?
