Songwriter: Mac Miller

[Intro: Mac Miller & Natasha Bedingfield]
Incom—, incom—, incom—, incom—, incompatible
(So a lot of people out here)
It don't matter though
(Tell me I don't belong in this rap game)
'Cause someone's bound to hear my cry
(Whether it be, um, too young)
Speak out if you do
(Not your everyday rapper)
You're not easy to find
(It's fucked up, but)

[Verse 1: Mac Miller]
They say I ain't ready for the game (For the game)
Well, that's a shame (That's a shame)
If you hatin', you can exit in your lane (Bye)
They jealous 'cause everybody mentionin' my name (Truth)
And all these other rappers, every sentence mean the same
But I'm spittin' with a diagnosed infection in my brain (Brain)
It sound crazy with this educated slang (Uh-huh)
So go ahead, keep your change
They say I don't belong here (Belong here)
Try and cut me out the field like a John Deere
I'm incompatible, probably 'cause I'm valuable (What?)
Lend me your ears with no collateral
If you don't give a fuck about me, everything cool
'Cause I don't give a fuck about you
Go and do what you do (What?)
Leave me to my music
Yeah, this can be your life if you choose it (Uh-huh)
I'm just doin' my part to write the history books
So why do all these other rappers keep givin' me looks?

[Chorus: Mac Miller & Natasha Bedingfield]
(They all say I'm) Incompatible (Haha)
It don't matter though (You know what I'm sayin')
(Jerm, just keep it goin')
'Cause someone's bound to hear my cry
(I'm just gonna do the second verse too)
Speak out if you do, you're not easy to find (Right)
Incompatible (Ayo, Sledgren, lemme talk to 'em real quick)
It don't matter though (Ready?)

[Verse 2: Mac Miller]
Uh, with all these expectations peakin'
They wonder what I'm 'bout to do ('Bout to do)
Sparked interest, music, I can count on you, right? (Right)
Or do I have it all twisted? (Twisted)
I went from popular to misfit in an instant
My friends forgot me 'cause they probably see me hardly (Damn)
Always in the lab when I should be out at a party (Truth)
It drive me crazy, and money is the fuel (Vroom)
Insomniac, awake, findin' somethin' I can do
To put the work in and I'm certain that I'm flirtin' with the fame
For failure gettin' jealous, throwin' dirt upon my name
It's burnin' up my brain but I'm workin' through the pain
'Cause life's hard 'til you learn it's just a game
Play your cards, use your letters on your Scrabble board (Play it right)
If you smart, put your heart into your rappin' more (Uh-huh)
No money? Why the fuck you countin' for? (I don't know)
A thousand chores, tryna get up my allowance more (Haha)

[Chorus: Mac Miller & Natasha Bedingfield]
Incompatible (But still they say)
It don't matter though
(I just tell 'em I'ma do me, ya know?)
'Cause someone's bound to hear my cry (Hater can hate)
Speak out if you do (But I'ma make music)
You're not easy to find (Period)
Incompatible (The High Life)
It don't matter though (What?)
'Cause someone's bound to hear my cry (Most Dope)
Incompatible

Mac Miller

Malcolm James McCormick (Jan. 19, 1992 – Sept. 7, 2018), who performed as Mac Miller, was an American rapper and producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since releasing his first mixtape at just 15 years old, he became one of the leaders of the new school of young and highly talented “weirdos.”

Mac’s credibility in the rap game increased ten-fold and resulted in a slew of quality releases, including 2012’s Macadelic mixtape, his second studio album Watching Movies With The Sound Off, and his critically-acclaimed 2014 mixtape Faces.

He had multiple alter-egos, most notably his producer alias Larry Fisherman and his sick and twisted pitched-up persona (à la Quasimoto,) Delusional Thomas.
