[Intro]
Too fucked up to rap

[Verse 1]
Rollie on my wrist, a diamond ring right on my finger
They said, "Stick to rappin', boy, you ain't much of a singer"
But me, I don't give a fuck, 'cause simply I'm too cool
Got a whole life I can live, plus I just bought a pair of shoes
Funny, it's just magic, when my thoughts are so sporadic
And my mom thinks I'm an addict, or it's messy up in my attic
Got people in my ear, who's this speakin'? I don't hear
I'm too focused to be the dopest, got my mansion with chandeliers

[Refrain]
They thinkin' they all know you, and it's easy to break you down
There's so much they can show you, here's the notes, just take 'em down
Everybody's watchin', so be sure to make 'em proud
You can say you pissed off, you just can't say it too loud

[Chorus]
Bankin' on me, waitin' for me to fall
My homies first, no doubt about it at all
The world's got evils, they wanna watch you fail
But I'ma live to tell the tale
Oh well

[Verse 2]
Sometimes it's okay to stop and just say, "Fuck it all"
Fuck their expectations, I just need me a vacation
All these dumb public relations, swear I'm runnin' out of patience
There's no more shit I'll be takin', I'm just smilin' while you hatin'
Every cadence, every word, they analyze it and criticize it
"Someone else thought of that first," well, I'm just tryna redefine it
They're all so narrow-minded, tell 'em, "Open up that mind"
'Cause what I make is timeless, and right now that's so hard to find

[Refrain]
They thinkin' they all know you, and it's easy to break you down
There's so much they can show you, here's the notes, just take 'em down
And everybody's watchin', so be sure to make 'em proud
You can say you pissed off, you just can't say it too loud

[Chorus]
Bankin' on me, waitin' for me to fall
My homies first, no doubt about it at all
The world's got evils, they wanna watch you fail
But I'ma live to tell the tale
Oh well

Mac Miller

Malcolm James McCormick (Jan. 19, 1992 – Sept. 7, 2018), who performed as Mac Miller, was an American rapper and producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since releasing his first mixtape at just 15 years old, he became one of the leaders of the new school of young and highly talented “weirdos.”

Mac’s credibility in the rap game increased ten-fold and resulted in a slew of quality releases, including 2012’s Macadelic mixtape, his second studio album Watching Movies With The Sound Off, and his critically-acclaimed 2014 mixtape Faces.

He had multiple alter-egos, most notably his producer alias Larry Fisherman and his sick and twisted pitched-up persona (à la Quasimoto,) Delusional Thomas.
