[Intro]
Hold me now, hold me now

[Verse 1]
Love and death go hand in hand
This could be a perfect plan
When two lovers make a pact
There can be no going back

[Chorus]
This is the end of the world
Type of love for a boy and a girl
Love and death
They will set us free
One last breath for eternity

[Post-Chorus]
Hold me now for eternity
Hold me now

[Verse 2]
It’s the last night of my life
I'll give you a last goodbye
I feel like oblivion
Like an empty stadium

[Chorus]
This is the end of the world
Type of love for eternity

[Post-Chorus]
Hold me now for eternity
Hold me now

[Bridge]
On the silver screen, I'm the beauty queen
Mythological for infinity
Love and death to me are a mystery
Dead legends living in mortality
For eternity, for eternity
For eternity, for eternity
For eternity

[Chorus]
This is the end of the world
Type of love for eternity

[Post-Chorus]
Hold me now for eternity
Hold me now

[Outro]
La, la, la
La, la, la
La, la, la
For eternity
La, la, la
La, la, la
La, la, la
We're gonna make it happen
Hold me now for eternity
Hold me now

Marina Diamandis

Marina Lambrini Diamandis, better known as MARINA (formerly Marina and the Diamonds), is a Welsh singer-songwriter and musician.

Growing up in Wales, England and Greece, Marina became “obsessed with becoming a singer, almost as if it was a disease.” After moving to London, it took four years before she established herself as a singer-songwriter. After several independently-released EPs, she placed second on the BBC Sound of 2010 list. In 2010, her debut album, The Family Jewels, was released to critical acclaim and chart success, eventually being certified Gold in the UK.

Her 2012 sophomore album, Electra Heart, was a concept album in which she embraced the titular persona—a vapid, blonde “straight-up pop star” who arose out of her label’s demands for a more commercial pop sound and Marina’s desire to maintain artistic integrity. It became her most successful album, debuting atop the UK, Scotland and Ireland album charts.
