*coughing and sneezing*
There is no known cure for the common cold

You said let's go on a break
Sounded a little bit fake
Sounded like you just wanted to go on a date
Well you don't need my permission
There's no point for me to keep
Wishing you were more, more

You're a world class liar
I am a damn pariah
Try to drag you higher
But the stars, they fracture
And now I'm piecin' together a puzzle of your face
But the part for your heart, it never fits into place
Oh-oh, place

Love is a turbulent sea
Are you scared to swim with me?
Swim past the fishermen's nets that have
Already tried to trap you and me

I remember when you said
"There are plenty of other fish in the sea,"
You said, "If this is love, then the current will
Bring you back, bring you back to me"
Bring you back to me

Feeling a certain shame
Let myself be treated this way
No, this won't happen again
Not over my dead body

Like two dumb dogs walking in circles
Got a feeling, was I just chasing
The wrong tail?

Well it's better having your head stuck up your ass
You can't sail

He said "You don't appreciate me"
Like a bastard on heat
Two weeks I couldn't eat
But I made my pain discreet

Wouldn't sit the exams
You wanted me to take
I'm above all your games
This shark won't fall for your bait

Oh woah oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Plenty of fish in the sea
But I just wasn't hungry

Love is a turbulent sea
Are you scared of swimming with me?
Swim past the fishermen's nets that have
Already tried to trap you and me

I remember when you said
"There are plenty of other fish in the sea,"
You said, "If this is love, then the current will
Bring you back, bring you back to me."

Bring you back to me

Marina Diamandis

Marina Lambrini Diamandis, better known as MARINA (formerly Marina and the Diamonds), is a Welsh singer-songwriter and musician.

Growing up in Wales, England and Greece, Marina became “obsessed with becoming a singer, almost as if it was a disease.” After moving to London, it took four years before she established herself as a singer-songwriter. After several independently-released EPs, she placed second on the BBC Sound of 2010 list. In 2010, her debut album, The Family Jewels, was released to critical acclaim and chart success, eventually being certified Gold in the UK.

Her 2012 sophomore album, Electra Heart, was a concept album in which she embraced the titular persona—a vapid, blonde “straight-up pop star” who arose out of her label’s demands for a more commercial pop sound and Marina’s desire to maintain artistic integrity. It became her most successful album, debuting atop the UK, Scotland and Ireland album charts.
