[Chorus]
Let's have a Christmas party
Invite everybody
Let's call up the family
And tell them to get ready
For my Christmas party
Miss it, you'll be sorry
We'll eat cookies and candy
Eggnog with a brandy
At my Christmas party (Party)

[Verse 1]
'Cause I miss Grandma
I miss her cookin' in the kitchen with her hair done
I need Uncle Steve on Christmas Eve
To come through with the Amazon gift card

[Pre-Chorus]
It only happens once a year
Let's spread that Christmas cheer
That's all I wanna do
I wanna be roastin' by the fire
Sugar cookies get me higher
Dance 'cause Santa's comin' soon

[Chorus]
Let's have a Christmas party
Invite everybody
Let’s call up the family
And tell them to get ready
For my Christmas party
Miss it, you'll be sorry
We'll eat cookies and candy
Eggnog with a brandy
At my Christmas party

[Verse 2]
I'll put the lights up
It gon' feel like we all in a night club
And when the neighbors hear us ragin'
Let 'em in, no invitation

[Pre-Chorus]
It only happens once a year
Let's spread that Christmas cheer
That's all I wanna do
I wanna be roastin' by the fire
Sugar cookies get me higher
Dance 'cause Santa's comin' soon

[Chorus]
Let's have a Christmas party
Invite everybody
Let's call up the family
Tell them to get ready
For my Christmas party
Miss it, you'll be sorry
We'll eat cookies and candy
Eggnog with a brandy
At my Christmas party

[Bridge]
No gifts, just RSVP, you're on my list
And, know this, it's a party that you don't wanna miss
Said no gifts, just RSVP, you're on my list
Baby, you're on my list

[Chorus]
Let's have a Christmas party
Invite everybody
Let's call up the family
Tell them get to ready
For my Christmas party
Miss it, you'll be sorry
We'll eat cookies and candy
Eggnog with a brandy
At my Christmas party

Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor is a pop singer-songwriter from Nantucket. Before launching her solo career, she wrote songs for the likes of Sia and Sabrina Carpenter. She entered pop stardom with the controversial but danceable body-positivity anthem “All About That Bass,” which led her 2015 debut LP, Title.

In 2016, Meghan released her sophomore effort Thank You, which was preceded by the smash single “NO.” Peaking at #3 on the Hot 100, top 20 track “Me Too” & the reggae-influenced “Better” supported the release of the album.

Staying reasonably quiet in 2017, Trainor dropped the single “I’m A Lady” for the “The The Lost Village.” Trainor underwent vocal surgery during the year and needed time to rest her voice before returning to the limelight.
