Some boat's gone out fishing, some boat's high and dry
Some boat's on a mission to the lonely Lorelei
Some folk's got a vision of a castle in the sky
And I'm left stranded, wondering why
I don't need a rowboat, I don't need a wood
Even if I get a medal from my local neighborhood
I won't need a castle, they've got castles in Versailles
And I'm still stranded, wondering why

Things can go wrong, things can go right
Things can go bump in the dead of the night
Let me be there, let me be there
Let me be there with you in the dead of the night

Make it a beautiful night for me
It's a beautiful night for love
A wonderful sight for lovers in love to behold
Make it a beautiful night for me
It's such a beautiful night for love
A wonderful sight for lovers in love to behold

Some boat's on the ocean, we're here in the room
Seems to me the perfect way to end an afternoon
We can look for castles, castles in the sky
No more wondering, wondering why

Things can go wrong, things can go right
Things can go bump in the dead of the night
Let me be there, let me be there
Let me be there with you in the dead of the night

Make it a beautiful night for me
It's a beautiful night for love
A wonderful sight for lovers of love to behold
Make it a beautiful night for me
It's such a beautiful night for love
Make it a wonderful sight, oh, make it a wonderful night for me

Make it a beautiful night for me
It's such a beautiful night for love
What a wonderful sight for lovers in love to behold
Make it, make it a beautiful night for me
It's such a beautiful night for love
A wonderful sight for lovers of love to behold

Make it a beautiful night for me
And I'll make it a beautiful night for you
Such a wonderful sight for lovers in love to behold
Make it a beautiful night
Oh, it's a beautiful night for love
What a wonderful sight for lovers of love to behold

Oh, it's a beautiful night for love
It's a beautiful night for me
Make it all right, make it all right for me, yeah
Don't do that one time, all right babe

Paul McCartney

Sir James Paul McCartney, born June 18, 1942, is the single most successful music artist of all time. He found worldwide fame as the bass player and vocalist for The Beatles, and has continued to enjoy commercial success long after the band’s breakup.

His post-Beatles projects—the most lucrative of which was the band Wings, alongside then-wife Linda Eastman—have been met with mixed critical reception but he still retains a substantial public following, regularly conducting worldwide arena tours well into his later years.

His album sales with The Beatles, Wings and solo endeavours combined come to over 100 million, and his net worth was estimated to be approximately $1.2 billion circa 2018. He was knighted in 1997 and is known for his activism.
