[Verse 1]
When you're fed up, shedding too many tears
And your memories seem like just so many souvenirs
I will come to you to ease the pain

[Chorus]
If you want me, tell me now
If I can be of any help, tell me how
Let me love you like a friend
Everything is going to come right in the end

[Verse 2]
When you're crying like a poor little child
And you're feeling like you never could be reconciled
Don't forget a word of what I'm saying
Oh

[Chorus]
If you want me, tell me now
If I can be of any help, tell me how
Let me love you like a friend
Everything is going to come right in the end

[Bridge]
Well, I can hold you too tight
I could never let you go but that wouldn't be right
So why don't you let me know (let me know)
Let me know what you wanna do?

[Verse 3]
Everybody's got a handful of fear
But tomorrow, it may only be a souvenir
Of the way it was till it went away

[Chorus]
If you want me, tell me now
If I can be of any help, tell me how
Let me love you like a friend
Every little thing is going to come right in the end

[Bridge]
Well, I can hold you too tight
I could never let you go, but that wouldn't be right
So, why don't you let me know what you wanna do?

[Chorus]
If you want me, tell me now (You want me... tell me now)
If I can be of any help, tell me how (Tell me how)
Let me love you like a friend (Let me love you... like a friend)
Every little thing is going to come right in the end (Right in the end)

[Outro]
(Souvenir
Souvenir)
No, not another souvenir (Souvenir)
No, no, no, no, no, no
Souvenir

Paul McCartney

Sir James Paul McCartney, born June 18, 1942, is the single most successful music artist of all time. He found worldwide fame as the bass player and vocalist for The Beatles, and has continued to enjoy commercial success long after the band’s breakup.

His post-Beatles projects—the most lucrative of which was the band Wings, alongside then-wife Linda Eastman—have been met with mixed critical reception but he still retains a substantial public following, regularly conducting worldwide arena tours well into his later years.

His album sales with The Beatles, Wings and solo endeavours combined come to over 100 million, and his net worth was estimated to be approximately $1.2 billion circa 2018. He was knighted in 1997 and is known for his activism.
