[Chorus]
Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes
Playas get lonely too, too
Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes (yeah)
Playas get lonely too, too (ohh, ohhh)

[Verse 1]
From my iPhone to my sidekick
Jet planes, schedule hectic
My love life, I neglect it
Had a fast car but I wrecked it
Plenty chances to fall in love, man
So many weekends I went to clubs, man
In the fast lane, my life's a picture flick
Let my drink decide who is the next chick
I ain't gon' lie, all the playing it don't matter to me
She say she me love me but it's just chit chatter to me
But deep inside I was always missing something
But I'm a thug so I'm always on something
So many girls always drinking and having fun
Life's a beauty shop and I keep my hair done
Seems like I'm on a merry-go-round
Man, that make a thug wanna settle down

[Chorus]
Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes
Playas get lonely too (oh I do), too (oh I do)
Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes (sometimes)
Playas get lonely too (oh I do), too (and you know I do)

[Verse 2]
I'm gonna settle down with you (oh oh), baby you and me (ay hey)
A life that's brand new (oh oh), quit running these streets (ay hey)
Take away your pain (ah ouuu), chase away the rain (ah ouuu)
Up my love game (ah ouuu), I might even change my name (ah ouuu)

[Chorus]
Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes
Playas get lonely too (oh I do), too (oh I do)
Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes (sometimes)
Playas get lonely too (oh I do), too (and you know I do)

[Verse 3]
Uh, uh, V.I.P., uh, uh, R-O-B
Always in the spotlight
Living the good life
All of that, something still just ain't right
Videos and all of these interviews
When all I really want is to be next to you
I'll spend more time with my car now
Land of the Hollywood sign, I'm a star now
My life is more than the cars and awards
It gets lonely and I can't ignore
Always in the streets going hardcore
I spend a couple of G's when I'm bored

[Chorus]
Sometimes, sometimes (sometimes), sometimes (sometimes, I)
Playas get lonely too, (oh I do) too (oh I do, yeah)
Sometimes, sometimes (sometimes), sometimes (sometimes, sometimes)
Playas get lonely too (oh I do), too (and you know I do)

[Bridge]
(Party nights mixed with lonely nights
Mixed with first class flights mixed with)
Uh, nobody to share it with, no
(Above all after parties, I still need somebody)
To be there when a playa's going through some shit
To be there when a playa can't make a hit

[Chorus]
Sometimes, sometimes (sometimes), sometimes (sometimes, ooh)
Playas get lonely too, too (I know, I know I do)
Sometimes, sometimes (sometimes), sometimes (sometimes, sometimes)
Playas get lonely too, too
(Rolling in my drop, living on top, and it don't stop, no)
Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes (sometimes, sometimes)
Playas get lonely too, too
(Every now and then, I need somebody)
Sometimes, sometimes, (sometimes) sometimes (sometimes)
Playas get lonely too (oh I do), too (I do)

[Outro]
Playas get lonely
R-O-B, yeah, 12 Play: 4th Quarter
Playas get lonely too

Robert Kelly is a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer from the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, where he first started performing under the “L” subway tracks as a teenager. Kelly wrote and produced the entire album, which contained the #1 R&B hits “Honey Love” and “Slow Dance,” along with the Top 10 R&B hits “She’s Got That Vibe” (#7) and “Dedicated” (#9). The following year, Kelly went on to become a solo act.

In 1993, he released his first solo album, 12 Play, featuring the hits “Bump N' Grind” and “Your Body’s Callin'.” He released a self-titled album in 1995 featuring the hits “Down Low (Nobody Has To Know)” and “You Remind Me of Something,” while his 1998 double album, R., featured a string of hits, including “I Am Your Angel” with Celine Dion, “When a Woman’s Fed Up,” and his Grammy Award-winning song “I Believe I Can Fly” from the Space Jam soundtrack.
