Songwriter: Rick Springfield

[Verse 1]
Where to begin when you're buried alive
As your life caves in and your worlds collide
Crashing like a wave on the dark side
Wearing a grin as a man of lies
Looks good in his skin as he catches your eye
Just another rock in the landslide
So breathe
We'll find a better place
Where we both will land
I promise you

[Chorus]
Just free yourself
Move to private Idaho, let's go
Making the best of all you know this time
And see yourself
For all you are you never have to hide
You’re taking the test and doing fine
Girl, you're beautiful inside

[Verse 2]
Where does it end when you try to pretend
That the weight of the world isn't killing you
Splashing like a kid in the low tide
Needing a win when you're losing again
And the state of the girl isn't thrilling and new
Looking for a break in the long ride

[Chorus]
Just free yourself
Move the chains despite that fall again
Gotta confess she still resists the climb
Just be yourself
You gotta find the heart that can not be denied
You're going to be blessed in time you'll find
Girl, you're beautiful inside

[Bridge]
Once in a lifetime a moment that defines you
We'll find a perfect place where we both will land
I promise too
Just free yourself
Move to private Idaho, let's go
Making the best of all you know this time
And see yourself
For all you are you never have to hide
Taking the test and doing fine
Girl, you're beautiful inside

[Chorus]
Free yourself
Move the chains despite that fall again
Watching the rest as they all climb, so high
Just be yourself
You gotta find the heart that can not be denied
You’re gonna be blessed in time you'll find
Girl, you're beautiful inside
