In the space between our souls
There is only isolation
And the place that we call home
Decays from neglect
In the race to reach our goals
And the fight for domination
We gaze at our cell phones
As we disconnect

If we all fall
We will all fall down
We will all fall down together

Face to face and eye to eye
Build a bridge to our salvation
We can span the star filled sky
Where we reflect
And it's love, not a human shield
Will bring us back from alienation
Can we dream of a battlefield
Where we connect

When we all stand
All the lost are found
We will all stand
And together
If we both stand
On our common ground
You and I
We will connect

On an island made of sand
In a sea of our frustration
We rebuild the same wasteland
And its dark effect
Touch our lips to bloodstained hands
And we pray for our salvation
As we dream of promise lands
Where we connect

If we all fall
We will all fall down
We will all fall down together
If we both stand
On our common ground
You and I
We will connect
We connect
We connect
We connect
