Baby, yeah
Thinking of you
I will never be blue, baby

Wherever I go, and whatever I do
Baby, I'll be thinking of you
I will never be blue, 'cause I'm thinking of you
Baby, I'll be thinking of you

There've been too many rocks in my heart
So many soul songs tearing me apart
I need to relax and make a new start
'Cause you're the only one that gets deep in my heart

(Bam!) 'Cause I'm thinking of you
(Bam!) I'm thinking of you
(Bam!) I will never be blue, baby
(I'm thinking of ya all night long)

I've had the blues, but here's the news
Baby, I'll be thinking of you
Yeah, I will never be blue, baby
'Cause I'm thinking of you

And there's too many dreams have been blown
Just a victim of circumstance, out on my own
I need to relax and make a new start
'Cause you're the only one that gets deep in my heart

(Bam!) 'Cause I'm thinking of you
(Bam!) I'm thinking of you
(Bam!) I will never be blue, baby
(I'm thinking of ya all night long)
That's right

Baby, yeah!

(Bam!) 'Cause I'm thinking of you
(Bam!) I'm thinking of you
(Bam!) I will never be blue, blue, blue, blue
(I'm thinking of ya all night long)

(Bam!) I will never be blue, blue, blue, blue
(Bam!) 'Cause I'm thinking of you
(Bam!) Baby, yeah
(Bam!) I'm thinking of you

Simply Red

Simply Red is a British soul and pop band. The first incarnation of the band was a punk group called The Frantic Elevators, whose seven-year run produced limited releases on local labels and ended in 1984 upon critical acclaim for their final single, “Holding Back the Years”.

By early 1985, Mick Hucknall and manager Elliot Rashman had assembled a band of local session musicians and begun to attract record company attention. The group adopted the name “Red” (after Hucknall’s nickname, denoting his hair colour) but then Mick decided it would sound better with the addition of the word ‘Simply.’

Since the mid 1980s, the band has sold more than 50 million albums.
