[Verse 1]
Feed me lies
I believed you
That's the saddest thing I believed in you
But I really shouldn't be surprised
Fall down hard
Ain't no way to love
Its been way too rough, finally had enough
I need to make it out the dark

[Hook]
Still it's like damn
I love it, I love it
I love it how It feels
I want it, I want it
I know it isn't good for me
But I'ma let you play me like a symphony
All the while I know it isn't real, yeah
I need something to feel

(haaa haaaa haaaaa)
(haaa haaaa haaaaa)

[Verse 2]
He acting hella reckless
He repossess that Lexus
Can't even pay his taxes
He all up in my Texts's
He bought me diamond necklace
Said write that as expenses
He's steady tryna flex this
Like "Bae, you're the sexiest"
And he all up all up, on my Insta liking them photos
If he texting bitches, he know
He ain't get the pussy no more
Cause this shit got him so whipped
Slurping it up like a snow cone
When he with ya girl
He wife it if I let his ass for sure

[Hook]

Tinashe

Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and former model born in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Los Angeles, California.

Born on February 6, 1993, her rise to fame began with her acting on shows such as Two and a Half Men. Initially making her debut in the music industry via the short-lived girl group The Stunners—which also featured Hayley Kiyoko—she garnered attention from online music blogs with her 2012 mixtape, In Case We Die. Signing with RCA Records shortly after, she released two further mixtapes later that year and in 2013: Reverie and Black Water respectively. “2 On” was released in January 2014 as the lead single from her debut album, Aquarius, and remains her biggest solo single to date. Released in October that year, the album was praised by critics for its merging of old-school R&B sounds and fresh 2010s trends. The follow-up was subjected to much-criticised although “Player” was billed as the collection’s lead single as early as October 2015, songs released from the project failed to reach the label’s expectations, resulting in the release of an album’s worth of outtakes from the album, Nightride, in November 2016. Joyride was finally released on April 13: it features the singles “No Drama”, “Faded Love” and “Me So Bad”.

On February 18, 2019, Tinashe parted ways with her longtime record label RCA. By November that year, she inked a new management deal with Roc Nation and self-released Songs for You, her fourth studio album.
