[Intro]
I always get you back baby

[Verse]
Left his house right off the bat
Fuck around on me and I drop it like that
No second chance, no relapse
Mark my words, karma's coming right back
Couple months pass, saw him at the club
Hand in hand with some dumb slut
Little later on when I saw her well
Realized she was bad as hell
Made up my mind, I was gonna get her
Said we could be friends and I took her out to dinner
Damn nice car, said you were a winner
Had the best time of my life when I was with her
When I took her home, moved in for the kiss
What's going on, you never had a lover?
It's okay, you'll remember this
I get what I want but I've never been a quitter
She fell in love in just a day
And it was so easy to make her fall for me
Now that I took your girl away
I'ma relax and enjoy this bad one all for me
Did you hear me?
Now that I took your girl away
(I'ma say it again boy)
I'ma relax and enjoy this bad one all for me

[Hook]
I guess you got what you deserved in time
Your girl is, your girl is mine
If you want her, better get in line
Your girl is, your girl is mine
Your girl is mine, mine, mine
Your girl is mine, mine, mine
I said your girl is mine, mine, mine
Your girl is mine
She is mine, mine, mine, mine, mine

Tinashe

Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and former model born in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Los Angeles, California.

Born on February 6, 1993, her rise to fame began with her acting on shows such as Two and a Half Men. Initially making her debut in the music industry via the short-lived girl group The Stunners—which also featured Hayley Kiyoko—she garnered attention from online music blogs with her 2012 mixtape, In Case We Die. Signing with RCA Records shortly after, she released two further mixtapes later that year and in 2013: Reverie and Black Water respectively. “2 On” was released in January 2014 as the lead single from her debut album, Aquarius, and remains her biggest solo single to date. Released in October that year, the album was praised by critics for its merging of old-school R&B sounds and fresh 2010s trends. The follow-up was subjected to much-criticised although “Player” was billed as the collection’s lead single as early as October 2015, songs released from the project failed to reach the label’s expectations, resulting in the release of an album’s worth of outtakes from the album, Nightride, in November 2016. Joyride was finally released on April 13: it features the singles “No Drama”, “Faded Love” and “Me So Bad”.

On February 18, 2019, Tinashe parted ways with her longtime record label RCA. By November that year, she inked a new management deal with Roc Nation and self-released Songs for You, her fourth studio album.
