[Verse 1]
It's like you're lying on the tracks when you hear the train coming
It's like you take another shot cause you need to feel something
Spend all your money on the dress but your shoes are still clashing
It's like you still got on the plane and they told you it was crashing
Dumb

[Pre-Chorus]
Now I'm falling from the sky
With no parachute in sight
And it's too late to look behind
So here we go, here we go

[Chorus]
Oh my, look at us fly
We're gonna fall hard, but in the mean time
Look at us fly
And up we go and away
And up we go any way
And up we go and away
And up we go any way

[Verse 2]
I need you in my life now like a bullet in my head
But I can't fall asleep without you lying in my bed
Every day I tell myself there's a better situation
But addiction is addiction, and fuck it, it's amazing

[Pre-Chorus]
Now I'm falling from the sky
With no parachute in sight
And it's too late to look behind
So here we go, here we go

[Chorus]
Oh my, look at us fly
We're gonna fall hard, but in the mean time
Look at us fly
And up we go and away
And up we go any way
And up we go and away
And up we go any way

[Bridge]
It's like you're running to the smoke when you know there's fire
But then you light another spark and watch it burn higher
Let it go, let it go, let it go, let it go, let it go, let it go

[Pre-Chorus]
Now I'm falling from the sky
With no parachute in sight
And it's too late to look behind
So here we go, here we go

[Chorus]
Oh my, look at us fly
We're gonna fall hard, but in the mean time
Look at us fly
And up we go and away
And up we go any way
And up we go and away
And up we go any way
Eh, eh, no

Tinashe

Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and former model born in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Los Angeles, California.

Born on February 6, 1993, her rise to fame began with her acting on shows such as Two and a Half Men. Initially making her debut in the music industry via the short-lived girl group The Stunners—which also featured Hayley Kiyoko—she garnered attention from online music blogs with her 2012 mixtape, In Case We Die. Signing with RCA Records shortly after, she released two further mixtapes later that year and in 2013: Reverie and Black Water respectively. “2 On” was released in January 2014 as the lead single from her debut album, Aquarius, and remains her biggest solo single to date. Released in October that year, the album was praised by critics for its merging of old-school R&B sounds and fresh 2010s trends. The follow-up was subjected to much-criticised although “Player” was billed as the collection’s lead single as early as October 2015, songs released from the project failed to reach the label’s expectations, resulting in the release of an album’s worth of outtakes from the album, Nightride, in November 2016. Joyride was finally released on April 13: it features the singles “No Drama”, “Faded Love” and “Me So Bad”.

On February 18, 2019, Tinashe parted ways with her longtime record label RCA. By November that year, she inked a new management deal with Roc Nation and self-released Songs for You, her fourth studio album.
