Stay... Stay... Stay... ay

Hello, thought about you
Just picked up the phone
(I called do you find)
So I wanna explain
I hope you don't mind
I say to you why I'm callin'

Before you answer wait a second
You know why I called
It's because I wanna see you
Boy I don't mean to second guess us
I do this every time
It's gotta seem a lot

The more that you push
I turn you away
Please stay, stay stay
Cause sometimes I move
The wrong kind of way
When I reach out to you
And pull you to stay, stay stay

Stay, stay...
Stay, stay...
Stay stay
Stay stay

Why, why do I treatcha
Treatcha so bad
When you deserve much more
Why do you put up with this
I don't know
What am I in your life for
(In your life for)

Before you answer wait a second
I know what it is, yea it's me
I see you pleading... yea
I just get nervous, cause I like ya
I do this every time
It's gotta seem a lot

The more that you push
I turn you away
Please stay, stay stay
Cause sometimes I move
The wrong kind of way
When I reach out to you
And pull you to stay, stay stay

Oh every time I say it's the end
I pull you back again
(Turn around and do it again)
Oh I knew you wish, I make up my mind
And set it right

Ohh the more that you push
I turn you away(turn you away)
Please stay, stay stay
Cause sometimes I move
The wrong kind of way
When I reach out to you
And pull you to stay, stay stay

Stay, stay(ohh)
Stay, stay(I need you to stay)
Stay stay(yea)
Stay stay(no, I said I wantcha)
Stay stay
Stay stay
Stay stay
Stay stay
Stay stay
Stay stay
Stay stay
Stay stay
Stay stay...

Toni Braxton

Toni Braxton (born on October 7, 1967) is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, record producer, actress, and philanthropist, and has been active since 1989. She is best known for her single “Unbreak My Heart” and her second album Secrets. Braxton was discovered early by William E. Pettaway Jr., who helped her launch her career.

Braxton first started performing with her four sisters in a family band titled “The Braxtons” in the late 1980s, successfully attracting the attention of Antonio “L.A.” Reid and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, who were co-artists Braxton’s songs, including her signature song, Un-Break My Heart.

L.A. Reid and Babyface brought Braxton in as a substitution and had her record a demo of “Love Shoulda Brought You Home”. The song made it onto the soundtrack of the movie Boomerang, giving her early success and recognition. Braxton started recording her solo debut album at LaFace Records on July 13, 1993, quickly gaining popularity as it peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 Albums Chart. Braxton’s debut album has won her several awards, including three Grammy Awards. Her debut album also won her two American Music Awards.
