[Verse 1]
Oh, you love me
You put me to bed
Yeah, you love me
Dress me to the nines
Yeah, you love me
You tell me I'm special, so special
I know you love me
'Cause you want the best

[Chorus]
But you love me wrong
Yeah, you love me wrong

[Verse 2]
Oh, you love me
You lose sleep over me
I know you love me
'Cause I'm there in your wallet
And your locket
I heard you talk about me in the kitchen
You didn't know I was listening
But I was there, sitting on the stairs
Talk about me in the kitchen
You didn't know I was listening
But I was there, and that isn't fair

[Chorus]
Wrong
Yeah, you love me wrong
Yeah, you love me wrong
Yeah, you love me wrong
Yeah, you love me wrong
Yeah, you love me wrong
You love me wrong

[Outro]
I'll never be how you remember me
So I'd rather be in your memory
No, I'll never be how you remember me
So I'd rather be in your memory

Allie X

Alexandra Ashley Hughes, better known by her stage name Allie X, is a Canadian singer-songwriter.

Allie first started her career under the stage name Allie Hughes in Toronto around 2006, performing indie pop, indie rock, jazz and electronic influenced music. She released her album, Waiting for the Prize the same year. She then proceeded two further releases, including another album Ladies and Gentlemen in 2009 and an extended play titled Allie Hughes in 2010. All of the aforementioned releases were released independently and sold mainly at live shows.

In 2011-2012, Allie started performing under the stage name ALX. Under this name, the single “I Will Love You More” was released in March of 2012. Despite ALX only having only one official song release, numerous unreleased original songs from this era were performed live during 2012 shows such as “Chad Redux”, “Homebound” and “Phantom”. The ALX project eventually came to an end in late 2012. In July 2013, Allie decided to leave Canada and move to Los Angeles to pursue a full-time career as a singer-songwriter, signing a publishing deal. During 2013 she spent time learning about sound design and production and worked with numerous songwriters and producers including Billboard and Cirkut, who she met that year.
