Yeah?
Yeah, I'm ready
Yeah, ah!
Despite you listening, I'mma speak my piece
This is lady J and I got a story to share with y'all
Yeah, uh-huh
Creating this place uneasy to express
A loss of words for the first time speechlessly caressed
I was born a star baby since day one
Places on a platform clap for 'em
Cause I'm the one and only
I'm real playa and you're phony
My words are yet so corny
But how can I help it it's just so true ha ha
I have been told
I've been told off along this road
People keep tabs on me
I hate it with a vengeance
I tell them I do and with that truth
We respect, I respect
I disrespect those who come off
Rude like fools but I do it with class
Not with sass I do not like to be an ass for that matter
But if I ain't sorry to shatter or battle you
With words so mean
Then after comes verbs
And then makes a scene like what the hell
What the hell yeah I know I'm so mean
What the hell yeah I know I'm so mean
What the hell yeah I know I'm so mean
So don't take my kindness as my weakness
What the hell yeah I know I'm so mean
What the hell yeah I know I'm so mean
What the hell yeah I know I'm so mean
So don't take my kindness as my weakness baby

She released her first album Get Up in 2005, performing the main song on the television program Music Bank. Her second project titled The Rebirth was released in January 2009—after this release, she took a break from the music and left Korea to return to America.

In 2014, after a 5-year hiatus, Jessi returned as a member of the hip-hop trio Lucky J with rapper J'Kyun and vocalist JERO—also known as J-Yo. The group debuted with the digital single “Can You Hear Me” under YMC Entertainment in July of that year, soon to be disbanded as a team due to J-Yo wanting to make a solo debut himself.
