[Verse 1: John Legend]
I don't need words, you don't need to say it
Go with the feeling, and I'll do the same, woah
That's how this works, I put you first
You twist and you turn, I wanna learn

[Pre-Chorus: John Legend]
When I'm lost, you give me order
Pull me back and push me forward
Take me in and hold me, hold me closer
I'll follow you up and over
You control me, fast and slow

[Chorus: John Legend]
When you move, I move (I move)
Move (I'm caught in your groove)
Yeah, I'm gonna stay right next to you
Wherever you going, I'm going too

[Verse 2: Jhené Aiko]
If you're ever hurt, then I'm gonna bleed
But I'll pick you up and, put you back on your feet, oh woah, oh-oh
That's how this works, I put you first (Yeah)
Yeah, I do for you, what you want me to

[Pre-Chorus: John Legend & Jhené Aiko]
When I'm lost, you give me order
Pull me back and push me forward
Take me in and hold me, hold me closer
I'll follow you up and over
You control me, fast and slow

[Chorus: John Legend & Jhené Aiko, John Legend]
When you move, I move
Move (I'm caught in your groove)
Yeah, I'm gonna stay right next to you
Wherever you going, I'm going too

[Bridge: John Legend & Jhené Aiko, John Legend]
I can't believe that I've found someone like you
Oh, someone who needs that somebody like I do
Oh, oh-oh
I can't believe that I've found someone like you (Na-na-na-na, na-na)
Like you

[Chorus: John Legend & Jhené Aiko, John Legend]
When you move, I move
Move (I'm caught in your groove)
Yeah, I'm gonna stay right next to you
Wherever you going, I'm going too

Move, yeah
Move, yeah
Move, yeah
Move, yeah

John Legend

John Legend was born in 1978 in Ohio. He became an in-demand session musician and songwriter, working with such artists as Alicia Keys, Twista and Janet Jackson. He was soon introduced to up-and-coming hip-hop artist Kanye West, and the two musicians collaborated on one another’s demos.

J. Ivy claims credit for bestowing the “Legend” moniker upon John Stephens (with an assist from Kanye West). Via

Kanye was like, ‘Have you heard of this singer called John Stephens?’ He played me this song from him, that I think will.i.am produced. It was so refreshing and soulful. An hour later, John Stephens comes into the studio. I told him, ‘I heard your music. It’s so amazing. It sounds old school. Man, you sound like one of the legends. You’re a legend. Matter of fact, that’s what I am going to call you from now The Legend. A couple days later, we were in the lounge of the studio (Record Plant) and John Stephens walks in and everyone shouts him out. I was like, ‘John Legend!’ Kanye then said, ‘You’re John Legend from now on. That’s your name!’”
