[Intro]
Can't believe it

Whoo!
Rock the cradle of love
I rocked the cradle of love
Yes, the cradle of love don't rock easily, it's true

Well now, rock the cradle of love
I rocked the cradle of love
Yes, the cradle of love don't rock easily, it's true
Well now

Well, it felt like my balls on fire
When the rebel took a little child bride
To tease yeah you know you can please me, yeah

'Cause love cuts a million ways
And it shakes the devil if he misbehaves
You know I ain't nobody's fool
Come on, shake it up
'Ever I do

Rock the cradle of love
Rock the cradle of love
The cradle of love don't rock easily, it's true
Well now, I'm sent from heaven above, that's right
To rock the cradle of love
Yes, the cradle of love don't rock easily, it's true
Well now

Flesh for your Romeo and-a
Ah yeah, baby
I hear you moan
It's cheesy
This song is so cheesy, yeah

But love starts my rollin' train and-a
You can't stop me
I ain't insane
I said I ain't nobody's fool
Come on, shake it up
Whatever I do

Ow ow!
Yeah!
!

These are the wages of love
Yeah
Yeah!
Who! Yeah! Yeah!

[Guitar solo]

Well, it burned like my balls on fire
When the rebel took a little child bride
To tease, yeah, you know how to please me, yeah

This love starts a rollin' train and-a
You can't stop it
I ain't in vain
You know I ain't nobody's fool

Come on, shake it up
Whatever I do

Rock the cradle of love
I rocked the cradle of love
I was sent from heaven above
Yeah
To rock the cradle of love
Rock the cradle of love
Cradle of love
Rock the cradle of love
Cradle of love
Rock the cradle of love
Cradle of love
Rock the cradle of love
Cradle of love
Yeah! ow! [repeats]

Billy Idol

Billy Idol is an English rock musician, songwriter and actor. Born in Stanmore, Middlesex, Idol first achieved fame in the punk rock era as a member of the band Generation X. Unlike other British punk rock artists of his era, Idol was inspired by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

Idol continues to tour with guitarist Steve Stevens.

Idol’s 1987 release, “Mony Mony” reached #1 on the US top 40 charts; his songs to chart in the top 10 include: White Wedding, Eyes Without a Face, To Be a Lover and Cradle of Love.
