[Verse 1]
Hey little sister, what have you done?
Hey little sister, who's the only one?
Hey little sister, who’s your Superman?
Hey little sister, who's the one I want?
Hey little sister, shotgun

[Chorus]
Oh, it's a nice day to start again
Come on, nice day for a white wedding day
Oo yeah, a nice day to start again

[Verse 2]
Hey little sister, what is it you wish?
Hey little sister, what’s your vice or wish?
You see, I've been away for so long
I let you go for so long
Hey little sister, shotgun
Oh, it's a nice day to start again
Well, a nice day for a white wedding day
Oo yeah, a nice day to start again
Yow!

[Bridge]
Pick it up
I said, take me back home, yeah

[Bridge]
There ain't nothin' fair in this world, girl
There ain't nothin' sure in this world
There ain't nothin’ safe in this world
There ain’t nothin' pure in this world
I look for something left in this world
I said, start again

[Chorus]
Come on, it’s a nice day for a white wedding, yow!
Ooo yeah, a nice day to start again
Well, white wedding, silk shedding
Fancy shower, white wedding day
Start again
Well, take me back home, yeah
White wedding
Silk shedding day

Billy Idol

Billy Idol is an English rock musician, songwriter and actor. Born in Stanmore, Middlesex, Idol first achieved fame in the punk rock era as a member of the band Generation X. Unlike other British punk rock artists of his era, Idol was inspired by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

Idol then embarked on a successful solo career, and was a member of the MTV-driven “Second British Invasion” of the United States. A series of music videos for songs such as “Dancing With Myself”, “White Wedding”, “Rebel Yell” and “Eyes Without a Face” made him one of the first MTV stars. Idol continues to tour with guitarist Steve Stevens.

Idol’s 1987 release, “Mony Mony” reached #1 on the US top 40 charts; his songs to chart in the top 10 include: White Wedding, Eyes Without a Face, To Be a Lover and Cradle of Love.
