[Refrain]
Yeah, layin' in her underwear
Tryna' see what's under there
I don't wanna ruin it
But you got me excited
I can't fight it with you, oh
Yeah, yeah

[Pre-Chorus]
Yeah, layin' in her underwear
I just wanna stop and stare
Wanna see where this could go
But I can see just where this is going
It's too late for slowing down, yeah

[Chorus]
I just wanted you to notice me
I just wanted you to notice me
For who I am
Instead of who I was
'Stead of who I'm becoming
That shit ain't love
It ain't love
It ain't love

[Bridge]
Faded jeans and faded rooms
Didn't wanna fuck it up with you
When she hit me with the, "Come through"
You know, goddammit, I'll slide through
Anytime that you need me to, ooh, oh, oh

[Refrain]
Yeah, layin' in her underwear
Tryna' see what's under there
I don't wanna ruin it
But you got me excited
I can't fight it with you, oh
Yeah, yeah

[Pre-Chorus]
Yeah, layin' in her underwear
I just wanna stop and stare
Wanna see where this could go
But I can see just where this is going
It's too late for slowing down, yeah

[Chorus]
Notice me
I just wanted you to notice me
For who I am
'Stead of who I was
'Stead of who I'm becoming
That shit ain't love
You know that shit ain't love, yeah

[Outro]
Oh yeah, ooh
That shit ain't love, ooh

blackbear

blackbear is the stage name of LA-based producer and singer-songwriter Mat Musto, popularly known for co-writing Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” in 2012. Some of his first collaborations were with the likes of Pharrell Williams, MGK, and Childish Gambino. Later, Musto reinvented himself—he coined the name blackbear from a previous EP titled Year of the Blackbear. Under his new name, he started leaning more towards rapping and an R&B-oriented style.

His first mixtape Sex included collaborations with his peers James Blake, Maejor Ali, and “Boyfriend” co-writer Mike Posner. The Afterglow followed in 2014.

In 2015, blackbear released “idfc,” as the lead single from his debut album Deadroses. It increased his fan following and revenue, earning him millions of playback streams and a spot on Billboard’s Uncharted List of Undiscovered and Upcoming Artists. The second single, “90210,” included a feature from G-Eazy—blackbear made an appearance in his 2014 track, “Remember You.”
