[Chorus]
You thought I wouldn't come around to you, 'round to you
You know I was down for you, down for you
Now I'm wishing that I never bowed to you, bowed to you
I'm in the shit I can't get out of, I'm not proud
I hate the sound of all these songs 'bout you, songs 'bout you
You know I was wrong 'bout you, wrong 'bout you
Let you hold onto this cash, let ya hold onto

[Verse]
I'm in the shit I can't get out of, I ain't proud of
I'm running out of time to hold you close
Running out of time to be your man, yeah
I'm just lost in the moment, yeah
I'm just zonin'
I'm running out of time to hold you down
Running out of time to be your man, yeah
I'm just lost in this moment, yeah
I've been zonin'

[Pre-Chorus]
You know that I could get you more, a little more
Whatever you need, what you need
I could get you more, a little more
Whatever you need

[Chorus]
You thought I wouldn't come around to you, 'round to you
You know I was down for you, down for you
Now I'm wishing that I never bowed to you, bowed to you
I'm in the shit I can't get out of, I'm not proud
I hate the sound of all these songs 'bout you, songs 'bout you
You know I was wrong 'bout you, wrong 'bout you
Let you hold onto this cash, let you hold onto

[Verse]
I'm in the shit I can't get out of, I ain't proud of
I'm running out of time to hold you close
Running out of time to be your man, yeah
I'm just lost in the moment, yeah
I'm just zonin'
I'm running out of time to hold you down
Running out of time to be your man, yeah
I'm just lost in this moment, yeah
I've been zonin'

[Outro]
You know that I could get you more, a little more
Whatever you need, what you need
I could get you more, a little more
Whatever you need

blackbear

blackbear is the stage name of LA-based producer and singer-songwriter Mat Musto, popularly known for co-writing Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” in 2012. Some of his first collaborations were with the likes of Pharrell Williams, MGK, and Childish Gambino. Later, Musto reinvented himself—he coined the name blackbear from a previous EP titled Year of the Blackbear. Under his new name, he started leaning more towards rapping and an R&B-oriented style.

His first mixtape Sex included collaborations with his peers James Blake, Maejor Ali, and “Boyfriend” co-writer Mike Posner. The Afterglow followed in 2014.

In 2015, blackbear released “idfc,” as the lead single from his debut album Deadroses. It increased his fan following and revenue, earning him millions of playback streams and a spot on Billboard’s Uncharted List of Undiscovered and Upcoming Artists. The second single, “90210,” included a feature from G-Eazy—blackbear made an appearance in his 2014 track, “Remember You.”
