[Intro: blackbear]
No, no, no

[Verse 1: blackbear]
Take a little bit of this, girl
I will show you what I'm on
It's not the beginning of something unwritten
It feels like we're living too fast to fall asleep
Take a little hit of this, girl
I will show you the world tonight
And I promise

[Chorus: blackbear]
That this could be everything you needed
This could be everything you dreamed of
And I, won't waste a minute, of time that we're livin'
I won't waste a day 'less I'm wasting my days with you
I won't waste a day 'less I'm wasting my days with you
I won't waste away 'less I'm wasting away with you
Yeah oh, yeah oh

[Verse 2: Devon Baldwin]
Yeah, let it in, let it be, babe
This is everything you need baby
We have all this time to waste
I won't even make you wait, so just come and lay with me
And I will show you how
I can show you now
Take a hit and let it out
'Cause there's a method to my madness
All you need's a little practice
Follow me baby, you don't have to say a thing
Keep your eyes closed, we can live in a reverie
Breathe just a little deeper
There's no better feeling than now
And I promise

[Chorus: blackbear]
That this could be everything you needed
This could be everything you dreamed of, and I
Won't waste a minute, the time that we're livin'
I won't waste a day 'less I'm wasting my days with you
I won't waste a day 'less I'm wasting my days with you
I won't waste away 'less I'm wasting away with you

blackbear

blackbear is the stage name of LA-based producer and singer-songwriter Mat Musto, popularly known for co-writing Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” in 2012. Some of his first collaborations were with the likes of Pharrell Williams, MGK, and Childish Gambino. Later, Musto reinvented himself—he coined the name blackbear from a previous EP titled Year of the Blackbear. Under his new name, he started leaning more towards rapping and an R&B-oriented style.

His first mixtape Sex included collaborations with his peers James Blake, Maejor Ali, and “Boyfriend” co-writer Mike Posner. The Afterglow followed in 2014.

In 2015, blackbear released “idfc,” as the lead single from his debut album Deadroses. It increased his fan following and revenue, earning him millions of playback streams and a spot on Billboard’s Uncharted List of Undiscovered and Upcoming Artists. The second single, “90210,” included a feature from G-Eazy—blackbear made an appearance in his 2014 track, “Remember You.”
