CHORUS:
Every night before I lay
If you wasn't laying beside me
Then I would pray to
See your face the very next day
Cause you drive me crazy
Every night before I lay
If you wasn't laying beside me
Then I would pray to
See your face the very next day
Cause you are my baby

(CeCe)
Won't you listen now
Your eyes, your style
Your moves, your smile
Oooh you got me open for a while
I can explain what you do to me
Boy you're drivin' me insane
Can you recall the spell you put me under
Didn't have time to wonder
Where do we go from here?
That's the only thing that I fear
And I love you, boy

CHORUS

(JoJo)
You've got me goin'
In circles and around and 'round
But I won't give up on you, no
Because you're what makes me happy
No no no no I'll never
Give up on you, I'll treasure
Every little thing that you do
Girl I really love you

CHORUS

You've got me open on your love
Can't live without you
And you're all I'm dreamin' of
And yes it's only you
That my heart beats for
It's your love
And you're everything that I need
And ever wanted

CeCe Peniston

CeCe Peniston is an R&B and dance singer/songwriter known for her international ‘90s pop hit “Finally.” The Phoenix, Arizona native got her start doing demos and background vocals for rapper Overweight Pooch. Though she didn’t have a lot of time to work on her debut album Finally, it still yielded multiple hit singles like “Keep On Walkin,” “We Got a Love Thang,” and the sentimental soul ballad “Inside That I Cried” that landed in the Top 20 Billboard charts in Pop, Dance and/or R&B categories.

For her 1994 follow-up, Thought Ya Knew, CeCe forged into more R&B territory with the Soulshock & Karlin-produced lead single “I’m In The Mood”. The album also yielded the hit singles “I’m Not Over You” and “Hit By Love”.

Label shake-ups affected the success of her third album I’m Movin' On, but the singles “Movin' On” and her remake of Jocelyn Brown’s dance classic “Somebody Else’s Guy” still made impact on both sides of the Atlantic.
