I sense your deeds about your date night
Or how you hate your boss
Probably need to steal your secrets
I think it's kinda creepy

Don’t need to know just what you're up to
Who you meet or what you screwed
Draw me in a situation
Or watch you change a conversation
You turn a conversation
You change a conversation

Post it all out there
Say, boundaries beware
You don't mind being bare
You say, a boundary, what?

Don’t you realize who you're talking to?
All the wired of the world
Just type away your privacy
Don't you care about your dignity
Aware about your dignity
You're sharing all your dignity

They're all the rumors, like tumors
Yea they're growing into me
Make a fashion of passion
Make a scene to be seen

Joan Jett & The Blackhearts

After splitting with The Runaways, and releasing her first solo album, Joan Jett placed an ad in LA Weekly looking for bandmates. Gary Ryan, Eric Ambel, and Danny “Furious” O'Brien joined her, creating the orginial Blackhearts lineup.

After their initial tour though, O'Brien was replaced with Lee Crystal.

Early on, keeping the band afloat was not easy. Joan and producer Kenny Laguna struggled, sometimes selling copies of albums from the trunk of his car. Eventually unable to keep up with the demand for Joan Jett’s album, they signed with Boardwalk Records.
