[Intro: JoJo & Jodeci]
Just a little love is all I need
Just a little love is all I need
Whoa, oh oh oh, oh, oh
To feel of your warm embrace, baby

[Chorus: Jodeci & (K-Ci)]
I'm still waiting for you to come back to love (Ooh, ooh, baby)
To fulfill this life we're dreaming of, dreaming of (Another day)

[Bridge: Puff Daddy & (K-Ci)]
This is for the niggas, strictly for the real niggas
This is for the niggas (Don't you rush, no, baby)
This is for the niggas, strictly for the real niggas

This is for the niggas (You know I'm waiting)
This is for the niggas, strictly for the real niggas
This is for the niggas (Ooh yeah)
This is for the niggas, strictly for the real niggas
This is for the niggas

[Verse 1: K-Ci]
It's been so long
Since I touched a lady
And I'm still waiting
For you to come back

[Pre-Chorus: K-Ci]
Now, will you forgive me
For the wrong I've done?
And let's try again
To make it last so long

[Chorus: Jodeci & (K-Ci)]
Baby, I'm waiting (Ooh yeah)
For you to come back to love (Woo, baby)
To fulfill this life we're dreaming of
(Another day might be too long)
Another day might be too long
(Don't you rush, don't you rush, baby)
Go slow so nothing goes wrong (My, my, my baby)

[Verse 2: K-Ci]
Listen, baby
I can't wait, ha, woo, to feel your love again
You can stop this pain that I've been feeling

[Pre-Chorus: K-Ci]
Let's start all over
And put the past behind
And make a love to stand
To the test of time

[Chorus: Jodeci & (K-Ci)]
Baby, I'm waiting on your love
To fulfill this life we`re dreaming of (Baby)
My heart is sad and so blue
I'm still waiting on you
(Another, another day might be too long)
Another day might be too long
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Go slow so nothing goes wrong

[Verse 3: Mr. Dalvin]
You got me waitin', so baby, why you trippin'?
Uh, come out your clothes and let's go skinny dippin'
And let me roll ya, and lick ya like a spliff
You want a melody? K-Ci, won't you hit a riff
I see your face, or is it a mirage?
You know "you remind me" like Mary J. Blige
Don't forget the times you know I kept ya smilin'
So tell me, honey, why you frontin' on Mr. Dalvin?
Ah, don't worry 'bout your ex 'cause that's bullshit
Plus, Jodeci pack more than just hits
So Swing Mob, string your boots, and tighten up your hoods
'Cause what we got goin' is so good

[Bridge: Puff Daddy & (K-Ci)]
This is for the niggas, strictly for the real niggas
This is for the niggas
(Don't ever turn your head away, baby)
This is for the niggas, strictly for the real niggas
This is for the niggas
(Come with me, you would never leave me, no)

[Chorus: Jodeci & (K-Ci)]
Baby, I'm waiting on your love
To fulfill this life we`re dreaming of
My heart is sad and so blue
I'm still waiting on you
(I would never forsake you, baby)
I'm still waiting on you to come back to love
(You make me feel so good)
To fulfill this life we`re dreaming of, dreaming of

[Bridge: Jodeci & (K-Ci)]

Jodeci

Started in 1983, Jodeci is comprised of two sets of brothers—Cedric and Joel Hailey (also known as K-Ci and JoJo) and Donald and Dalvin Degrate (also known as DeVante Swing and Mr. Dalvin). Jodeci were once known as the “bad boys of R&B,” notable particularly because they were actually boys at the time, breaking out as teenagers in 1991 with their debut album and its title ballad, “Forever My Lady.” Natives of North Carolina, they were discovered by Heavy D, who overheard their demo when an A&R at Uptown was in the process of passing on them. Heavy D introduced Jodeci to Uptown founder Andre Harrell, who signed them after they sang in his office, and handed them off to his then-protégé Puff Daddy, who outfitted the group in dark shades and coordinating leather ensembles. The look, along with the streetwise soul found in songs like “Cry 4 U” and “Feenin” (as well as a few run-ins with the law) made them the antithesis to good-guy personas of then-peaking R&B superstars Boyz II Men. Devante, who along with Mr. Dalvin held down production duties for the group, founded the Swing Mob, a collective responsible for the discovery of musical geniuses like Timbaland, Missy Elliott, and Static Major. As a group, Jodeci would go on to release three critically-acclaimed album in the ‘90s, before disappearing from the limelight. K-Ci and JoJo splintered off as a duo in 1997, producing hit single “All My Life” and, eventually, five albums, but adoring fans never let go of their Jodeci obsession. In March, the group released The Past, The Present, The Future, the first Jodeci album in two decades. Jodeci, if y'all reading this, where’d you go?
