[Verse 1]
I shred your books of poetry
Yes, it's me again
I wreck your positivity
Yes, it's me again
I fuck it to watch it bleed
I kick it to make it scream
I am the alternate choice
To some straight life of mercy

[Chorus]
You see beauty, I see pain!
You see sky and I see acid rain!
It's me again, it's me again!
It's me again!
It's me again, it's me again!
It's me again!
It's me again, it's me again!
It's me again!
It's me again

[Verse 2]
I rip your throat out on a whim
Yes, it's me again
I only ask for everything
Yes, it's me again
I squeeze it to feel it breathe
I smash it to fuel this need
I am the antidote for
Whatever sickness you feed

[Chorus]
You see beauty, I see pain!
You see sky and I see acid rain!
It's me again, it's me again!
It's me again!
It's me again, it's me again!
It's me again!
It's me again, it's me again!
It's me again!
It's me again

[Verse 3]
Little Ms. Fucker don't move an inchm
Y'all dumb suckers can't take the heat
Your blood rushing from head to feet
This is what I stand for
All your choices, that's done to man
All you fuckers know who I am
I'm the living proof that you can
Turn around and say, "It's me again"

[Brige]
It's me again
Fuck!
Fuck!
Fuck!
Fuck!

[Chorus]
You see beauty, I see pain!
You see sky and I see acid rain!
It's me again, it's me again!
It's me again!
It's me again, it's me again!
It's me again!
It's me again, it's me again!
It's me again!
It's me again, it's me again!
It's me again!
It's me again, it's me again!
It's me again!
It's me again, it's me again!
It's me again!
It's me again, it's me again!
It's me again!
It's me again

Bakersfield friends James “Munky” Shaffer, Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu and David Silveria formed the funk-rock band LAPD in 1989 and moved to Los Angeles with another friend Brian “Head” Welch as their roadie. Later, with Welch as second guitarist, the band named themselves Creep and recorded a demo with pal Ross Robinson.

However, when Shaffer and Welch visited family in Bakersfield, they met Jonathan Davis who added a darker, goth-tinged edge to the band’s heavy groove. Robinson

The band wasn’t dark yet; it had, like, killer grooves and good riffs, but there was some happy edge to it. And when (Davis) walked into the room, it went dark and goth. Basically, during the first song, to audition in the rehearsal room, he started freaking the hell out [laughs]. You couldn’t hear his voice, but you felt chills all over your body, and it was instantly like, “Oh my God, yeah – he’s the one.”
