[Verse 1]
Good evening, shuttle bus!
Tell me where you're gonna take us
Some place that I have never been
It's chic transportation to new destination
Where I leave my reflection on the glass
I'd ask, but we don't know how far these interstates go
Or how deep the city roots go down
In chilly sub-depth railways, the weathered concrete stairways
Provide me with a means of getting home
If I ever leave

[Chorus]
On crystal sand, we sleep hand-in-hand
While soothing words

[Verse 2]
So many sights to see, so wake up like an early birdie
And we'll get a head start on the day
Oh, stained-glass skyways and crowded six lane highways
If I look back when I begin to leave, will they remember me?
Circuit flights bend the lights when I am spent
And tour guides make happy brides feel heaven-sent

[Chorus]
On crystal sand, we sleep hand-in-hand
While soothing words

[Bridge]
Good evening, shuttle bus!
Tell me where you're gonna take us

[Chorus]
On crystal sand, we sleep hand-in-hand
While soothing words hover like hummingbirds

[Outro]
Good evening, shuttle bus!
Tell me where you're gonna take us

Owl City

Originally making songs in his basement for his friends as Sky Sailing, Adam Young then discovered synth music and became Owl City, releasing two relatively unpopular albums Maybe I’m Dreaming and Of June before making his hit single “Fireflies” which made his third album as Owl City, Ocean Eyes a hit.

After this worldwide success he put on two more albums, All Things Bright and Beautiful in 2011, and The Midsummer Station in 2012. In 2014 he released an EP, Ultraviolet, composed of 4 songs whom one would appear on his following album, Mobile Orchestra. Retiring from Owl City in 2016 to focus on Adam Young Scores, a new project made of orchestral soundtracks about historic events, he reappeared in 2017 to tease his upcoming new album Cinematic, with the release of a series of three EPs, called Reel 1 , 2 and 3.
