[Intro]
[Intro]
She wound a thread around the pieces of my broken heart
And left me to believe
That girls don't want to, girls don't want to leave

[Verse 1]
A starry night without a fear of heights
I can't recall, Because I learned after all
That girls don't want to, girls don't want to fall

[Chorus]
As you doze off tonight, I'll toss and turn
As your sweet dreams take flight, I'll crash and burn
While your heart flutters free, I still can't breathe
As you stir in your sleep, I hope you think of me

Da da da da da da daaaaa
Da da da da da da daaaaa (girls, girls don't want to fall)

[Verse 2]
I miss the way she whispered in my ear
Before she left, had me so convinced
That girls don't want to, girls don't want to leave
And Juliet's romantic balcony
Wears out the wall, but I learned after all
That girls don't want to, girls don't want to fall

[Chorus]
As you doze off tonight, I'll toss and turn
As your sweet dreams take flight, I'll crash and burn
While your heart flutters free, I still can't breathe
As you stir in your sleep, I hope you think of me

[Verse 3]
When you're alone
I hope my ghost never leaves
Because when I'm home
Your painful memory is always haunting me

[Chorus]
As you doze off tonight, I'll toss and turn
As your sweet dreams take flight, I'll crash and burn
While your heart flutters free, I still can't breathe
As you stir in your sleep, the thought is killing me

[Verse 4]
When I see you around, my eyes go wide
When you race through my mind, I die inside
While your heart flutters free, I still can't breathe
As you stir in your sleep, I hope you think of me

[Outro] [x4]
Da da da da da da daaaaa
I hope you think of me

Owl City

Originally making songs in his basement for his friends as Sky Sailing, Adam Young then discovered synth music and became Owl City, releasing two relatively unpopular albums Maybe I’m Dreaming and Of June before making his hit single “Fireflies” which made his third album as Owl City, Ocean Eyes a hit.

After this worldwide success he put on two more albums, All Things Bright and Beautiful in 2011, and The Midsummer Station in 2012. In 2014 he released an EP, Ultraviolet, composed of 4 songs whom one would appear on his following album, Mobile Orchestra. Retiring from Owl City in 2016 to focus on Adam Young Scores, a new project made of orchestral soundtracks about historic events, he reappeared in 2017 to tease his upcoming new album Cinematic, with the release of a series of three EPs, called Reel 1 , 2 and 3.
