Springfield

Splish splash on the window
To the window sill
Rush run muddy rivers
Running down the hill
Pitter patter water feet
Dancing on the roof
Drip drop non-stop
I hope its waterproof

Another rainy night
But were dry and warm
Another rainy night
I love a thunder storm
Let the thunder boom
And the lightening light
Were all bundled up in our beds tonight
Another rainy night by the firelight

The trees all shiver
As the wind rushes through
Ships are tossed
Across the great ocean too
Pitter patter water dancing
On the old man’s head
Splish splash wrap him up
And put him in his bed

Another rainy night
But were dry and warm
Another rainy night
Another thunderstorm
Let the thunder boom
And the lightening light
Were all bundled up
In our beds tonight
Another rainy night by the firelight

What about the animals
If they all start to float
Everybody knows a dog doesn’t own a raincoat
What about the cat
Such a poor little fellow
Have you ever see a cat try to hold an umbrella
I hope their warm inside

Another rainy night
But were dry and warm
Another rainy night
I love a thunder storm
Let the thunder boom
And the lightening light
Were all bundled up
In our beds tonight
Another rainy night

Splish splash on the window
To the window sill
Rush run muddy rivers
Running down the hill
Pitter patter water dancing
On the old man’s head
Splish splash wrap him up
And put him in his bed

Another rainy night
But were dry and warm
Another rainy night
Another thunder storm
Let the thunder boom
And the lightening light
Were all bundled up
In our beds tonight
Another rainy night
Another rainy night
