Springfield

The sun is sinking in the west
The sky is turning sapphire blue
The moon is rising in the east
And the stars are winking goodnight to you

Say Goodnight to the sun
As you close your eyes
Say Goodnight to the moon
As it sings you sleepy lullabies
Blow a kiss to the night
We'll all watch over you
And we'll all be here in the morning
When the sun comes shining through

Your house has had a busy day
The windows are sleepy too
And every door is snug and tight
And they all wish sweet dreams to you

Say goodnight to the house
As you close your eyes
Say goodnight to your toys
And they'll sing you sleepy lullabies
Blow a kiss to the sky
We know you'll sleep tight
And we'll be watching over you
All through the night
Say goodnight to the sun
As you close your eyes
Wave goodbye to the sky
As you cuddle up with your lullabies
Blow a kiss to the moon
He'll watch over you
And every star knows your name
And they love you too

We've all had a happy day
We all love to be with you
And we're all tired, we're warm and safe
We all will sleep, the whole night through

Say goodnight to the stars
As you close your eyes
Say goodbye to the sky
As we sing you sleepy lullabies
Blow a kiss to the moon
We'll all watch over you
And we'll all be here in the morning
When the sun comes shining through

Say Goodnight
Say Goodnight
