Springfield

I love to watch you sleep
I really wouldn’t mind a ride to London
Just to meet the queen
I could be shanghaied on a rocket ship ride
To the planets I’ve never seen
Or ride a camel to the pyramids
They grow upon the moon
I’d fly through the city
Just like Walter Mitty
Till the stars come out again
One thing, I’d really love
As we turn down the light
To share this moment just with you
And to catch a kiss goodnight

I’d like a sleigh ride to the North Pole
Where they make ice cream
Or sail to cities under the sea
In a yellow submarine
I’d probably say yes to be the guest
Of the richest king in Spain
I could ride a horse, made of velvet green
With a sparking silver mane
One thing, I’d really love
As we tuck the covers tight
To have this moment just with you
And to catch a kiss goodnight

Goodnight

See the moon chase the sun
Across the sky
And we should turn down the light
We love to share this moment just with you
And to catch a kiss goodnight
