Songwriter: Tinashe

I've been waiting so long...
To see you
I never knew how good it could feel
Till I held you
I never imagined
That one person could ever mean so much
But then it happen just like
I prayed for, a blessin' from above
There you are, what a creation
And I'll be usin' you'll be mine
Until the end of time

My heart it burned for
Someone to claim in
When suddenly you came
And changed my life

I realize every day I need you
And I mean it when
I say "I love you"

And you'll always be
The whole world to me
Oh I've never been more sure of it
Baby you and me for eternity
I'd give my life for this

There you are, what a creation
And I'll be usin' you'll be mine
Until the end of time

My heart , it learned that love is amazing
Forever I'll be right here
By your side

And I just wanna hold you
And never let you go
And now that I have you
Baby I know that this is magic
Oh I'm positive it's real
Cuz it's the only explanation
For the way you make me feel

There you are, what a creation
And I'll be usin' you'll be mine
Until the end of time

So beautiful
What a creation
Yeah!
The greatest thing
That happen to my life

Thank god for you
You truly changed...
My life

Tinashe

Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and former model born in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Los Angeles, California.

Born on February 6, 1993, her rise to fame began with her acting on shows such as Two and a Half Men. Initially making her debut in the music industry via the short-lived girl group The Stunners—which also featured Hayley Kiyoko—she garnered attention from online music blogs with her 2012 mixtape, In Case We Die. Signing with RCA Records shortly after, she released two further mixtapes later that year and in 2013: Reverie and Black Water respectively. “2 On” was released in January 2014 as the lead single from her debut album, Aquarius, and remains her biggest solo single to date. Released in October that year, the album was praised by critics for its merging of old-school R&B sounds and fresh 2010s trends. The follow-up was subjected to much-criticised although “Player” was billed as the collection’s lead single as early as October 2015, songs released from the project failed to reach the label’s expectations, resulting in the release of an album’s worth of outtakes from the album, Nightride, in November 2016. Joyride was finally released on April 13: it features the singles “No Drama”, “Faded Love” and “Me So Bad”.

On February 18, 2019, Tinashe parted ways with her longtime record label RCA. By November that year, she inked a new management deal with Roc Nation and self-released Songs for You, her fourth studio album.
