Mind Da Gap

Mind Da Gap é um grupo de rap do Porto, pioneiro no movimento hip-hop português, formado por Ace, Presto, e pelo produtor e DJ Serial.

Ace e Presto conhecem-se por volta de 1993 e formam “Da Wreckaz” como um duo (onde faziam apenas rap em inglês). Posteriormente, conhecem Serial, tendo-se identificado os 3 como das poucas pessoas que gostavam de hip-hop na altura, formam um trio. Tempos depois, mudam o nome para Mind Da Gap, admitindo a sua sonoridade própria com instrumentais originais de DJ Serial.

Lançaram o seu primeiro EP homónimo em 1995, e o primeiro álbum, Sem Cerimónias, em 1997, gravado nos estúdios da Valentim Carvalho em Lisboa. Desde então, editaram mais cinco álbuns e uma colectânea de êxitos.
