[Intro]
Yeah, yeah, hey, hey

[Verse 1]
You tell lies and you cry just a little
Don't feel bad, you should know that
On the phone like it's now or it's never
Been drunk like three whole days, like, why?
It's sad but true, can't be in love with you
Yeah, yeah

[Pre-Chorus]
And it's been on my mind way too often
I can't understand where we went wrong

[Chorus]
But I've been going through changes
Going through changes without you
Yeah, I've been going through changes
Going through changes without you
And I worry one day, you'll wake up and you won't know me
And I worry one day, I'll wake up and you won't know me
And I worry one day, I'll wake up and you won't know me anymore

[Verse 2]
I told lies, could have tried just a little
Could have tried, didn't fight for you
My side girl got right in the middle
You went left, I was wrong and I know that I
I did you dirt
Couldn't fix this with just words

[Pre-Chorus]
And it's been on my mind way too often
I can't understand where we went wrong

[Chorus]
But I've been going through changes
Going through changes without you
I've been going through changes
Going through changes without you
And I worry one day, you'll wake up and you won't know me
And I worry one day, I'll wake up and you won't know me
And I worry one day, I'll wake up and you won't know me anymore

blackbear

blackbear is the stage name of LA-based producer and singer-songwriter Mat Musto, popularly known for co-writing Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” in 2012. Some of his first collaborations were with the likes of Pharrell Williams, MGK, and Childish Gambino. Later, Musto reinvented himself—he coined the name blackbear from a previous EP titled Year of the Blackbear. Under his new name, he started leaning more towards rapping and an R&B-oriented style.

His first mixtape Sex included collaborations with his peers James Blake, Maejor Ali, and “Boyfriend” co-writer Mike Posner. The Afterglow followed in 2014.

In 2015, blackbear released “idfc,” as the lead single from his debut album Deadroses. It increased his fan following and revenue, earning him millions of playback streams and a spot on Billboard’s Uncharted List of Undiscovered and Upcoming Artists. The second single, “90210,” included a feature from G-Eazy—blackbear made an appearance in his 2014 track, “Remember You.”
