[Verse 1]
Do you still like white wine, white wine
At the right time, right time?
Low lights
Do you still hate my guts? Baby, that's fine
Do you still get blacked out, go too hard?
Wake up feeling too far from where your home really is?
Don't know what I did, but I take it back, I was acting like a kid

[Pre-Chorus]
Do you still get up in yo head, acting like the world's gonna end?
Do you still have that fear that no one's gonna love you for you?
Maybe I'm just stuck in the past
Nothing good ever lasts

[Chorus]
We used to drive all night, all night
We would feel good, get high, now I wonder
Whatever happened to you?
Moved to the south side, south side
Made friends with the girls that you don't like
Whatever happened to you?

[Post-Chorus]
Whatever happened to you?

[Verse 2]
What happened to me? Wish you were here
Now I can see everything clear
Gone for a week, feels like a year
I done sent a text, you ain't read it, I feel deleted
I feel defeated, kinda feel cheated
How you gonna walk up out my life, no reason?
Rules are gonna break and mistakes, gon' repeat it
But I can't let you tell me that you love me and believe it

[Pre-Chorus]
Do you still get up in yo head, acting like the world's gonna end?
Do you still have that fear that no one's gonna love you for you?
Maybe I'm just stuck in the past
Nothing good ever lasts

[Chorus]
We used to drive all night, all night
We would feel good, get high, now I wonder
Whatever happened to you?
Moved to the south side, south side
Made friends with the girls that you don't like
Whatever happened to you?

[Post-Chorus]
Whatever happened to you?
Whatever happened to you?

blackbear

blackbear is the stage name of LA-based producer and singer-songwriter Mat Musto, popularly known for co-writing Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” in 2012. Some of his first collaborations were with the likes of Pharrell Williams, MGK, and Childish Gambino. Later, Musto reinvented himself—he coined the name blackbear from a previous EP titled Year of the Blackbear. Under his new name, he started leaning more towards rapping and an R&B-oriented style.

His first mixtape Sex included collaborations with his peers James Blake, Maejor Ali, and “Boyfriend” co-writer Mike Posner. The Afterglow followed in 2014.

In 2015, blackbear released “idfc,” as the lead single from his debut album Deadroses. It increased his fan following and revenue, earning him millions of playback streams and a spot on Billboard’s Uncharted List of Undiscovered and Upcoming Artists. The second single, “90210,” included a feature from G-Eazy—blackbear made an appearance in his 2014 track, “Remember You.”
