[Intro]
Yeah, yeah
Oh, yeah

[Verse 1]
I spent another night alone again
Woke up in the coldest, coldest bed
I ran into God at the liquor store
She asked me what I'm always running for

[Pre-Chorus]
I gotta get out, I gotta get with it
I got too much doubt and I don't know my limits

[Chorus]
But I could deny and I could just lie
But I'm forthcoming to you
I'm telling the truth, I cheated on you
And it didn't feel good, promised I'd change
But you see right through (You're seeing right through)
I'm sick of taking flights to see these other girls
I swear I'm gonna change (You're seeing right through)
I'm sick of taking drugs and feeling bad
I swear to God, I'm gonna change

[Verse 2]
I've been so depressed, can't leave my couch
It's all good, it's not like you're checking up on me
You ripped out the best part of my heart and let it bleed
It's all my fucking fault; I can't blame anyone but me

[Pre-Chorus]
And I gotta get out, I gotta get with it
I got too much doubt and I don't know my limits

I'm sick of taking flights to see these other girls
I swear I'm gonna change (You're seeing right through)
I'm sick of taking drugs and feeling bad
I swear to God, I'm gonna change

[Outro]
I spent another night alone again
Woke up in the coldest, coldest bed
I ran into God at the liquor store
She asked me what I'm always running for

blackbear

blackbear is the stage name of LA-based producer and singer-songwriter Mat Musto, popularly known for co-writing Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” in 2012. Some of his first collaborations were with the likes of Pharrell Williams, MGK, and Childish Gambino. Later, Musto reinvented himself—he coined the name blackbear from a previous EP titled Year of the Blackbear. Under his new name, he started leaning more towards rapping and an R&B-oriented style.

His first mixtape Sex included collaborations with his peers James Blake, Maejor Ali, and “Boyfriend” co-writer Mike Posner. The Afterglow followed in 2014.

In 2015, blackbear released “idfc,” as the lead single from his debut album Deadroses. It increased his fan following and revenue, earning him millions of playback streams and a spot on Billboard’s Uncharted List of Undiscovered and Upcoming Artists. The second single, “90210,” included a feature from G-Eazy—blackbear made an appearance in his 2014 track, “Remember You.”
