[Verse 1]
Make a mess inside my heart
Leave your makeup everywhere
Move right in, tear me apart, yeah
Show me that you really care
I miss the chaos, and the wrong things
Disorder made it easier
Couldn't leave you, sinking under

[Pre-Chorus]
I would drown for you
I was down for you
To make a mess inside my heart
Leave your makeup everywhere
Move right in, tear me apart
Show me that you really care, that you really care
That you really care

[Chorus]
Make a mess inside my heart, heart
Make a mess inside my heart
Show me that you really care

[Verse 2]
Yeah, I let you wreck everything in sight
I must have been blinded
By that big old ass and that accent
You sittin' back and you laughin'
But I let it get so bad, I never stopped
I was addicted to the way you made me work
For everything that I was given
And I let you make a mess of everything, I had no limit
So one minute, I'm in love with you, one day, I'll be conflicted
But for now, go 'head
And fuck up my whole life that I've been living

[Pre-Chorus]
I would drown for you
I was down for you
To make a mess inside my heart
Leave your makeup everywhere
Move right in, tear me apart
Show me that you really care, that you really care

[Chorus]
Make a mess inside my heart, heart
Make a mess inside my heart
Yeah, show me that you really care

[Outro]
I miss the chaos, and the wrong things
Disorder made it easier
Couldn't leave you, sinking under
I would drown for you
I was down for you to make a
Yeah, show me that you really care

blackbear

blackbear is the stage name of LA-based producer and singer-songwriter Mat Musto, popularly known for co-writing Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” in 2012. Some of his first collaborations were with the likes of Pharrell Williams, MGK, and Childish Gambino. Later, Musto reinvented himself—he coined the name blackbear from a previous EP titled Year of the Blackbear. Under his new name, he started leaning more towards rapping and an R&B-oriented style.

His first mixtape Sex included collaborations with his peers James Blake, Maejor Ali, and “Boyfriend” co-writer Mike Posner. The Afterglow followed in 2014.

In 2015, blackbear released “idfc,” as the lead single from his debut album Deadroses. It increased his fan following and revenue, earning him millions of playback streams and a spot on Billboard’s Uncharted List of Undiscovered and Upcoming Artists. The second single, “90210,” included a feature from G-Eazy—blackbear made an appearance in his 2014 track, “Remember You.”
