[Verse 1]
She looks like a model
Wearing nothing but diamonds in her ears
She's the girl from Nevada
I don't know how she makes the money to live here
Oh...But she's got Gucci and Prada
High heels that I never see her wear
I just love that persona
The superstar you think you are

I, I, I, I Try to tell her that she's worth it
But she wants something perfect
And I don't know what that shit is so

[Hook]
She needs something beautiful, beautiful
She needs something perfect
She needs something beautiful, beautiful
She needs something perfect

Yeah
She needs something better to get her through the weather

[Verse 2]
I'm just like my father
I don't know when enough is enough is enough
But I waited through Autumn
I can't wait forever for your love
Can't you understand
California is so long from home
And I don't wanna be alone, alone

I want to give you something perfect
Trust me girl, you deserve it
But I don't know if that shit exists so

[Hook]
She needs something beautiful, beautiful
She needs something perfect
She needs something beautiful, beautiful
She needs something perfect

Yeah
She needs something better to get her through the weather
She needs something better to get her through the weather

blackbear

blackbear is the stage name of LA-based producer and singer-songwriter Mat Musto, popularly known for co-writing Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” in 2012. Some of his first collaborations were with the likes of Pharrell Williams, MGK, and Childish Gambino. Later, Musto reinvented himself—he coined the name blackbear from a previous EP titled Year of the Blackbear. Under his new name, he started leaning more towards rapping and an R&B-oriented style.

His first mixtape Sex included collaborations with his peers James Blake, Maejor Ali, and “Boyfriend” co-writer Mike Posner. The Afterglow followed in 2014.

In 2015, blackbear released “idfc,” as the lead single from his debut album Deadroses. It increased his fan following and revenue, earning him millions of playback streams and a spot on Billboard’s Uncharted List of Undiscovered and Upcoming Artists. The second single, “90210,” included a feature from G-Eazy—blackbear made an appearance in his 2014 track, “Remember You.”
